  1. I have the BenQ XL2430 and the Asus PG248Q at my apartment now. The Asus that I received has two dead pixels and there are lots of QA issues with this monitor (a quick google search will show you this). The BenQ has better colors and has a more detailed and sharper image. Also, fonts when browsing the internet on the BenQ are definitely better (due to BenQ having a "Sharpenss" calibration which Asus does not have). The Asus is 180 hz but I don't use that and never will, I keep it at 144hz (and a lot of people find that 120hz is best for gaming). The only thing that makes the Asus better is G-Sync. I do see a feel a slight difference when G-Sync is on but it's not a huge difference (it might just be in my head to be honest). If the BenQ had G-Sync, I would 100% without a doubt choose the BenQ over the Asus. The only thing that makes me question which monitor is better is the Asus having G-Sync vs. the BenQ having no G-Sync.
