I own a Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X. I currently mine XMR with it. How can I improve the hashrate? Overclocking the core or the memory? Maybe even underclocking the core? I´ve checked a lot of threads. But I can´t really find an answer to that

I think you meant GHz. I think you should get this: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080 A8G Corsair Vengeance LED CMU16GX4M2C3200C16R ASUS Prime X370 Pro Corsair RM750x Phanteks Eclipse P400S TG Corsair Force MP500 Your previous SSD Your previous HDD I just made that list for someone who needed a new machine for around 1600$ I think it would meet your expectations

Ok, that might be. But I was able to get a HP Z420 system for free. It has an intel Xeon E5 1660 0 nVidia Quadro K4000 64 GB RAM So thats very nice

Ok, but I think Ryzen fits me more
-
Nice! Why no Ti?

Ya. BUT the R7 1700 has 0,5Ghz OC headroom. While the 7700K can go up to 0,6 GHz
-
Still waiting for answers from people. If priority is on gaming, get 7700K. If priority is on multitasking, rendering and such, get r7 1700 tho 7700K isn't bad at multitasking, rendering and such. AND the 7700K has more OC headroom

Hey, What are the "healty" and MAX temps for the Phenom II X4 970 BE? My friend currently OC'ed it to 4.2 GHz and it ran 44 C in idle. When will it crash. Where is the MAX SAFE temperature?

Haha, My experience with gaming at night is... Falling asleep in FPS games. thats not ideal. Your reaction time also gets slower, that's not ideal either

At night you SHOULD get some sleep

Look at my thread:

Ehm, @PCGuy_5960 These things got me thinking. Is the 7700K still better? Look at this... http://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/2827-amd-r7-1700-review-amd-competes-with-its-1800x

ASUS STRIX RX480 O8G or ASUS STRIX GTX 1060 O6G
AndriesM replied to AndriesM's topic in Graphics Cards
Ya, thats what i dont like about the 1070, im thinking of 1070 then. But G-Sync monitors are a little expensive -
So conclusion: Try to get R5 1600 (maybe X) w/ 1070? Or if cheaper R7 1700 w/ RX480 Is that right?

Yeah really, but a R7 1700 is 350, and ya, I think Ryzen will become greater when games get "used" too more cores -
