    I think we all agree the Sempron 2500 is an absolute powerhouse. I wouldn't even think about overclocking it. Problem cause space and time to fold in on its self.

    in terms of games, diminishing return is 16gb. the speed is
     
    2400/ cas 12
    2666/ cas 13
    3000/ cas 15
    3200/ cas 16
    3600/ cas 18
    4000/ cas 20 (you get the point)
     
    although the divided numbers are same, 4000 cas 20 is faster than 2400 cas 12.

    Gaming really won't benefit from more than 16GB. However, 3D models can get complex enough to leverage hundreds of GB of RAM (maybe not on your average PC but still).
