  1. I'm looking to replace my aging H55 and wondering what I should be looking for in an aio? My current assumption is that the pumps and radiators perform basically the same regardless of manufacturer (some differences in aesthetics of course) and that the performance difference really comes from the fans? Is that the case? I'm looking for a 280 or 240 aio and have noctua fans available to strap onto the radiator so should I just go for whichever brand is on sale this week?
  2. I'm also intrigued by the "3060 trap"? I recently swapped my 1060 3gb for a 3060 ti and did exactly as you did, swapped the power out and plugged the new card in. It worked straight away for me so hope you can get it resolved soon friend!
  3. Those look pretty good actually mate, thanks
  4. Can anybody recommend a good, wireless home theater Keyboard? I had originally been looking at a Corsair K83 but they've now been discontinued. It would be good to have the following: -Wireless with replaceable batteries -Trackpad included -Decent build quality Anything you guys can recommend?
  5. I recently cloned my 256gb Samsung 960 evo to a Crucial P3 Plus 2tb using the crucial version of Acronis. Whenever I try to boot I to windows with the Crucial drive installed I get stuck in an automatic repair loop and can't actually get into windows? The Acronis software suggests that the clone was successful and looking at the partitions, it seems correct? Does anybody know what's going wrong?
  6. Hi, did you manage to resolve this? having the same issue now and getting stuck in an automatic repair loop
  7. Just trued using Acronis - I got a message for a successful clone but when I try and boot I get stuck in an automatic repair loop and can't get in into my OS?
  8. I've just attempted to clone the disk using the Acronis software available with the Crucial drive but now have an issue where my PC boots into the windows recovery but not into actual windows? Acronis stated the clone was successful and boot manager is present for my new drive in the BIOS, do you have any ideas?
  9. Did you have a link to it? I'd rather go for a Ugreen than one of the no-name brands on Amazon... even if I guess the internals are probably the same
  10. Hi, I have a home theatre PC with 1060 inside which has a DP1.4 output. Recently I've upgraded my TV to one which can allow for 4k 120hz but only through an HDMI2.1 input. Obviously I don't expect to have any games running at that resolution on the 1060 but it would be good to have the desktop running at the native resolution. I've found a few adapter cables on Amazon which are DP1.4 to HDMI2.1 - Does anybody have experience with these and do they allow full resolutions as expected? https://www.amazon.co.uk/DisplayPort-Cable-Support-Vision-NVIDIA/dp/B0B5DBN421/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=dp1.4+to+hdmi+2.1&qid=1677934091&sprefix=dp1.4+%2Caps%2C156&sr=8-5 https://www.amazon.co.uk/YIWENTEC-DisplayPort-Converter-Directional-Compatible/dp/B0B2ZF95KC/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=dp1.4+to+hdmi+2.1&qid=1677934277&sprefix=dp1.4+%2Caps%2C156&sr=8-6
  11. For a long time I've been using the ~2015 solution of a large HDD (4TB) and a smaller boot NVME SSD (256GB) as a dual storage solution for my PC. Now though, the 256gb capacity of my SSD is proving to be a little too small as i start to store a few more games on it for faster load times. So, I'm considering swapping out my current Samsung 960 Evo for a Crucial P3 or P3 Plus in either a 1TB or 2TB capacity. (both are on sale in the UK now for an attractive price - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B25LZGGW/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?pd_rd_i=B0B25P44CL&pd_rd_w=C2lFL&content-id=amzn1.sym.15c0cc83-c6c5-4d44-aa3d-0de17a9f3682&pf_rd_p=15c0cc83-c6c5-4d44-aa3d-0de17a9f3682&pf_rd_r=DDYV49BX4N9YES06G7HF&pd_rd_wg=bYGLx&pd_rd_r=c1a7a1f7-a79b-4629-8714-5b316c86db85&s=computers&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWw&th=1) My question then is: - How easy is it to clone my existing SSD into the larger drive? What is the best way to do this? - is the P3 or P3 Plus a decent SSD? I'm, still on a Z170 system so Gen4 vs Gen3 is less of a concern... - will performance from the crucial drive be comparable to my current Samsung?
  12. Thanks mate, would I just use that alongside a USB to m.2 adapter to connect the replacement ssd before installing properly after the cloning?
  13. For years I have been using a 256gb 960 evo as my boot ssd and a big 4tb HDD to store a steam library and basically everything else. For the speed though, I usually keep a couple of frequently played games on my SSD and I'd like to replace it with something bigger. Is it possible to clone my SSD into a larger drive and then simply replace it after with the additional storage space free? Has anyone done this? if so, any tools you'd recommend?
  14. Hi all, I've just picked up a Corsair 250D which will be used to create a living room pc for older/light games. I'm going to be using an i5. 6600k and mini 1060 3gb which I already own but I'm looking for recommendations for a motherboard. I doubt I'll be able to do much OCing in this chassis so I'm not desperate to use a z chipset but does anyone have a recommendation of good motherboards which are compatible? Are there any itx boards which will support an nvme sad?
  15. Hey buddy, did you ever send your keyboard off to that company? If so, how did it go and who were they?
