  1. Hey man just ignore the new build. As i recently too was thinking of updating my system from an i5 2500k to an i5 7500. But in the end i only bought a new gpu. And used the extra cash for some other purposes. And i can still play all the games with 60fps on pretty good settings Well with the configuration you are getting you can easily play any games, just get a used hd 7970 and another 4gb of ram with an ssd. Not together but as and when you have cash. And well you can always think of oc as you do have a good board to support you with it. As i said all that earlier. And if you are on a tight budget you can always get some used stuffs.
  2. It will be better if u specify your needs for the new monitor. And yes an IPS any day over a TN.
  3. Get atleast 8gb of ram and if u want to overclock u can, but before change the stock cooler. You got a good motherboard. And try to add a ssd drive if it does not have one.
  4. Okay... So i need to go buy a dvi-d to dvi d 24+1 pin cable? As my lg monitor has a Vga & a dvi port 24+1pin. Thank You @Princess Cadence
  5. Hey Guys, As i bought a new gpu(Zotac 1060 6gb amp) last month i also got a new Monitor(Dell S2216H). But recently i started the need of a 2nd monitor and hence i decided to add my old monitor to my setup (Lg E2041). My card has 3 display ports, 1 hdmi and 1 Dvi-i. I used a Dvi-i to vga converter to connect the new Lg monitor. Well my system can detect it, as in the photos below, and the screenshot shows that the gpu is displaying on the 2nd monitor(Lg) too. But on the screen it shows D-Sub and enters to power saving mode. Can you guys help me how to get the display on the 2nd monitor too? A guy from one of the shops said to me that the Zotac 1060's Dvi-i port can only be used if i use a Dvi-i to Hdmi converter and hence suggested me to buy a new monitor with a Hdmi or Display Port input. Well right now i cant buy a new monitor as i recently upgraded my whole system. Guys thank for your help in advance.
  6. Guys finally i am going with the h77 motherboard... THANK YOU for your suggestions. I am saving the extra cash for a 2nd SSd. @Sakkura @scottyseng @DoctorZeus
  7. I did search for z77 boards here in India and i only got eBay links for importing refurbished MoBo from USA at ridiculous high prices.
  8. I too had no idea was just searching the web for a board and got it. That's the reason i am a lil skeptical about it. Well i will just go for a CPU overclocking if i go for it. The GPU is quiet powerful right now.
  9. Hey guys thank you for your suggestions. I just want to update that i finally bought a Zotac 1060 6gb Amp edition as it was on sale with a 40% off as stock clearance from a shop in a nearby city. And i also got a 2+3 years warranty with it. ? @Energycore @Princess Cadence @M.Yurizaki @deXxterlab97
  10. Hey LTT, Need your expert suggestions. My current Motherboard Intel DH67BL is wearing out, and hence getting a new board. There are only a few boards available in India for lga1155. Not even used are available. Confused between 1. Intel DH77EB @ $95.45 2. Intel DZ75ML-45k @ $141.64 I guess the z75 will help me overclock my CPU. But i don't know much about the quality and reliability of that board. My current rig: CPU i5 2500k Cooler CM hyper 212 turbo MoBo Intel DH67BL Ram Corsair Vengeance 4x2 8gb GPU Zotac 1060 amp 6gb PSU CM gx650 SSd Samsung 840 Evo 120gb HDD Seagate 1tb + 500gb
  11. Yes i surely know that. As i don't have a multi-monitor setup i guess a 6gb gpu will be an over kill
  12. Sure slight better but over a fair price. Mainly only over the texture units i guess.
  13. What's the point of getting a 6gb card and running it on a 1600x900 res monitor?
  14. @deXxterlab97 Well i want to go with an Nvidia card this time. My older card was a Hd 6750.
