  1. Thinking the same thing. I would say any lower and it becomes not worth it.
  2. Hello all, I have another build for you guys to look over. I'm going for the cheapest possible NEW build that's actually practical and "acceptable." I know you can always go cheaper but at this price range and with NEW parts I believe the G4560/RX460 is right at that boundary line before you should just buy used parts. Also, please don't include any B150M builds as this would go to someone who doesn't have a Skylake processor to flash the motherboard, thanks! Let me know what you think! Thanks as always. 3. I've looked high and low for that and I haven't found anything close. Do you actually have a link to post or was that a guess?
  4. Hello all, I need some opinions here. First off, it's already a BIG deal that I'm thinking about dropping $530 on an Asus MG279Q (144hz, 1440p, IPS, FreeSync) display. I'm not rich and it's already pretty ridiculous that I'm considering this much money for a monitor. Honestly I've never pushed my GTX 980 past 60hz so I'm looking to make that jump. Is spending $530 dumb when I should be spending 150-200 more for a GSync monitor? I need your opinions! And yes, I know that the monitor will still work and everything, I just won't be taking advantage of the FreeSync. To make matters worse, I actually WOULD consider my next GPU upgrade (probably in 1-2 years, maybe Vega though?) to an AMD card so that FreeSync wouldn't be a waste. But don't let that nonsense change your answer to the above question. Thanks!
  5. Any reason why you went with the Core 1000 over the Core 1100 I selected?
  6. Hey all, I have a standard PC build for you to judge. I'll give you my main points BEFORE you look at the build and that way you can see why I picked some of the items. Let me know what you think, thanks as always! -I went with a little bit more of an expensive case to get a trusted name brand and not have to work out of a terrible off brand one. (Open to other suggestions that fit this theme) -I HAVE to throw an SSD in there for OS and important software/games -I went with a GTX 1050ti because I tried to squeeze in a RX 470 but couldn't, PLUS with the RX 570's I have a tough time recommending the 470 for the time being. -I chose 1x 8GB stick of memory for the option to upgrade -I want to stick with a 250M motherboard in case I want to upgrade to a better Kaby Lake in the future without dealing with BIOS flashing PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xBBZKZ Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xBBZKZ/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor ($59.48 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: ASRock B250M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($62.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: G.Skill Aegis 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($53.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Sandisk SSD PLUS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($54.00 @ Amazon) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.89 @ OutletPC) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB SC GAMING ACX 2.0 Video Card ($129.99 @ Newegg) Case: Fractal Design Core 1100 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($39.99 @ NCIX US) Power Supply: EVGA 430W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply ($23.98 @ Newegg) Total: $474.31 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-04-21 17:50 EDT-0400
  7. Yea I mean that's exactly what I do now, but I want to narrow it down to a "goal" or a "killstreak." More than just if the game was a win or what not.
  8. I am currently using Nvidia Shadowplay (or Share) to record all of my footage. I usually manually record everything I play and then I use the 20 minute Instant Replay recording for when I accidentally forget to start the manual recording. The problem is that it's impossible to sort through all the footage and organize it, unless after every single match, game, round, etc I go into the folder and rename the file with whatever event happened. Is there anyway that I can QUICKLY document major events in my recording, such as a kill streak, huge crash in a racing game, scoring plays in sports games, etc? I would consider lowering my Instant Replay setting to like 3 minutes and then just hit the hot key every time something major happens, but then I lose my "backup" recording for when I forget to manually record games. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
  9. Hello all, I currently have a 3TB drive (would love to expand soon) on my Windows computer and I would like to have full access to that from my iPhone (and everything else) when I'm outside my home network. What is the best way to go about this? Should I buy a NAS? Can I set up Windows File Sharing to go outside my network? Any info would be great, not quite sure which route to take. I run a YouTube channel and I would like to have access to my entire media drive from anywhere in the world. I don't want to spend more than a couple hundred dollars, and I just don't know if I need a full blown NAS or if there's a way to do this with an HDD that's already installed on my computer. Thanks!
  10. Joining the hype train as well. Little worried about the population in PVP so I hope they can keep it populated for us on PC.
  11. How much of a requirement is F2P? I would recommend checking out Albion Online if you could drop $30 as a Buy-To-Play. You can pay for the premium subscription if you want with in-game currency.
  12. What resolution will you be running at? You'll kill anything you throw at it in 1080p (provided a few tweaks here and there)
