  1. Okay, so I tested it out with a few different power supplies (Corsair CX430W - didn't work, Random 500W PSU - worked) and sometimes it did work and sometimes it did not. There's still something wrong I can feel, but it seems the problem is solved for now
  2. A while ago I was experiencing freezing problems, which I thought it was a CPU issue, but turns out the GPU was faulty in some way. Now, when I plug it into my rig, I have no video. So, the card is dead, right? That's until I put it into my another computer and it worked perfecly fine. Any other GPU works without a problem on the pc, except for my GTX 650. Any clues on what's happening to my card?
  3. So I might test an aftermarket cooler... Maybe a Hyper 212 EVO will do the job.
  4. Gonna run these tests ASAP. There's still 415 GB free, 465 GB total. Being honest, I've never defragmented it ever since I bought it. Should I do it? Also, it doens't take too much to push the disk active time to 100%, according to Task Manager.
  5. When I push the usage to around 70%, the temps are not higher than 68ºC. When idle, about 40ºC, running the stock cooler. I really would like to see the temps while the PC is frozen, but then I cannot open my hardware monitor... I can do a fresh install without a problem, but if there's a fix that does not involve doing that, it would be great
  6. I had a i3 2100, I have a single Samsung SATA HDD 7.2 RPM and yes, I used to run a single 4GB HyperX Fury, but then I found this random stick and paired them together. Maybe this is the problem?
  7. So, I've got a PC with the following specs: AMD Six-core FX-6300 @ 3.5 GHz (Stock) M5A78L-M LX/BR Motherboard 1x 8GB RAM Corsair Vengeance EVGA GTX 650ti EVGA 500W PSU It simply freezes under high CPU usage. Doesn't turn off tho, so I'm guessing temperatures are not a problem. If I run a CPU stresser (using Core Damager), the PC freezes and there's nothing I can do but restart it. If I try and open several programs at once, it freezes too. Any tips? I'm thinking on just installing a fresh copy of Windows.
  8. Hey, I just upgraded from an i3 to an i7 and I haven't seen any significant jump on performance on my daily use. Gaming-wise, it's easily noticeable, but when it comes to simple tasks such as extracting an .rar or not-so-heavy multitasking, I can see a visible performance decrease. This is my first time with an i7 so I don't know what should I expect from it, but it seems too slow for a CPU priced so high. My rig: MSI H81C-E33 Motherboard i7-4770 @ 3.4 GHz 6 GB RAM - 1x 4GB Kingston HyperX Fury + 1x 2GB Random memory stick I found Asus AMD R9 270x I did a fresh Windows Install as soon as I upgraded my system. Is there any tweaks I can do in order to get some improvements on general use?
  9. Seems good my man. Are you considering getting an extra 8 GB for your rig? It might be neccessary, depending on your daily use. I can't imagine what my life would be without 16 gigs. Let me know how this Ryzen performs, I'm looking forward to get one of these. Having the same performance as Intel's counterparts for a lower price seems good to me.
