  1. Any news on this? I'm very interested, as I also have an impact in an Ncase, and I would very much like to switch from my h105 to a dark rock topflow.
  2. Hey guys, I have a question regarding the Powercolor 290 or 290x (as far as I can tell, they're the same size, physically) PCS+ cards; specifically if they'll fit in a Bitfenix Prodigy or Phenom (mitx). I know they're considered 2.5 slot cards, and through some careful measuring and some quick math, I've come to the conclusion that I'll have 2-3 mm clearance from the edge of the card to the side panel, but I'm not very trusting in my math. Does anyone know from experience if these cards (or rather, cards with this cooler) will fit in the cases? I've tried to look for builds with a 290/x PCS+ in an mitx Prodigy/Phenom, but I can't find any. Thanks in advance for any answers.
  3. Hey guys, I'm not particulary sure where this would fit best, but since a PSU and a case sparked this, I figure here would be best. When I got my Phenom, I was let down by the thumbscrews on the case. They feel cheap (plastic encased screws), they're overly big, and I didn't like the way they looked at all. So I bought some of the really generic thumbscrews that come with most cases to replace them. However, yesterday when I got my Silverstone Strider 600w psu in the mail and opened it up, I found it came with 4 thumbscrews that I really like. I'd like to replace most of the thumbscrews on the case with them, but I tried searching for them, and I can't find anything similar anywhere. I'd apprecaite if anyone has any information about where to get more of these. From left to right, these thumbscrews are: The original thumbscrews from my Bitfenix Phenom, generic thumbscrews I bought to replace the previous ones, and the last thumbscrew is from the silverstone PSU
  4. Hey guys, I have a question regarding my next computer build, which I'm currently in the middle of. I have most parts of my build planned out, except for the graphics card. I plan on gaming on a BenQ XL2420T, or better yet, the G-sync version of the same monitor that is supposed to be coming out soon, and I'd like to know what sort of a difference I would see if playing on a GTX770 with 2gb ram, versus one with 4gb of ram. I've seen reports that essentially answer this question (all saying there isn't a noticeable difference), but they were all for 60Hz monitors, not 120 or 144. tl;dr: Is there any advantage of a 4gb GTX770 over a 2gb GTX770 at 144Hz, or when using G-Sync? Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.
  5. If Corsair is making LED SP120s, I wish they'd hurry up and at least announce them. As of now, there's no real proof they're doing it, only hearsay and high hopes.
  6. Hey guys, I've read conflicting reports on how thick the H105 actually is. Some people are saying it's the advertised 38mm thick, but others are saying it only has a ~27mm thick radiator, and that it just has a thicker bezel. Does anyone have one of these yet, or know for sure what exactly's going on with the thickness? I've tried looking, but I can't find any review that actually measured the radiator, all of the ones I've seen only state the advertised thickness.
  7. Hey guys, I'm having a problem when I shut the computer down, and I think it has something to do with my new mouse, a Steelseries Diablo 3 mouse (which is just a rebranded Xai). Ever since I got my mouse a few weeks ago, everytime I shut the computer down, it freezes on the shutdown screen, and I have to smother the computer (press and hold power) until it shuts down. However, this only happens when my mouse is plugged in. If I unplug my mouse before starting the shutdown, it continues correctly and turns off on its own. I think it's trying to cycle through the usb ports and power them down, but it gets stuck on my mouse, as it doesn't power down (it still lights up), and neither does my keyboard. I've tried switching the mouse to other USB ports, but it happens with all of them. If any of this helps, the problems could exist in any of these: Windows 7 Professional GA 990-FXA-UD3 AM3+ SteelSeries Diablo 3 Mouse (rebranded Xai) I'm at a loss for why this is happening, so any feedback or input is appreciated. Thanks.
  8. I'd highly recommend buying a not-made-for-PC LED strip and wiring it yourself. You get much, much more for less (5 meters for $15 as opposed to 60cm for $30), and they're not hard at all to wire. You can cut them to the size you need, and all they take (connection wise) is a ground and a 12v, which you can easily solder to a 4pin molex. Another added benefit is that there's usually a much better variety of colors. For instance, for an upcoming mITX build, I want purple lighting, but I can't find any good purple LED light strips, so I'm going with this: http://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Flexible-Light-Strip-Purple/dp/B00AAP8TQ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391105782&sr=8-1&keywords=purple+LED+strip
  9. Hey guys, I have a Zalman CNPS20lq laying around from an old build, and am thinking of putting it into an upcoming mITX build as a GPU cooler using NZXT's G10 bracket. I know that the G10 only fits Asetek-type AIOs, and (as far as I know) all Zalman AIOs are from Asetek, but the CNPS20lq isn't listed on the compatability list from NZXT. Does anyone know if they're compatible? I assume it would fit just fine, but I'd rather know for sure prior to buying a G10. Thanks.
