I've seen many Youtubers use the Mod Mic 4 or 5 on their headphones. But are they really that good? Also, is the 3M adhesive on the Mod Mic 5 removable?

I'm thinking of getting a gaming headset under $40 u.s, and the g430s look like a good option. Are there any other headsets that are decent under $40? I'm mainly going to use a gaming headset for games such as csgo, and arma 3.
