  1. Then you should expect that performance. I did not see the FPS go above the low 40s. I did not see any frame rate that was even close to the 80s.
  2. it appears your GPU is the bottleneck. Most of the CSGO test I saw with the card all appear to be using the 1g version of the card.
  3. I understand that It would be impractical and nearly unusable with data tapes being used for mainly archival purposes I was just putting it into perspective as to how LTT used 100+ HDDS and just 3 data tapes could have the capacity.
  4. Data tapes have been around for quite some time and have been developing very quickly, recently. About 4 months ago Sony and IBM announced a 330TB data tape. Info on these data tapes: ars Technica article on these tapes: https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2017/08/ibm-and-sony-cram-up-to-330tb-into-tiny-tape-cartridge/ engadget: https://www.engadget.com/2017/08/02/sony-ibm-330tb-data-storage-tapes/ Here is a photo for reference of how large this data tape is: LTT could have used ~3 of these drives for their petabyte project (In the sense of raw data capacity)
  5. Feel free to message me for any questions you have.
  6. are you dual booting? This may be a problem with the drivers or in rare cases the MBR. I would recommend next time you successfully enter windows updating drivers for the GPU, CPU, mouse, keyboard, and audio devices. You should also check that you have no faulty USB devices connected to your PC. If neither of these fixes the problem you can try resting the MBR. To do this follow the instructions here.
  7. Welcome to community of virtualization. for VM's you don't need several storage devices. You could have several Virtualized OS's on a single storage device, As most virtualization software such as VMware and VirtualBox create "virtual" storage devices on 1 storage device. Though if you want you can dedicate a whole storage device for each VM. If you are looking setup you computer only for virtualization then I would recommend installing proxmox as it is open source and allows for advanced control over your virtual machines. This is not necessary by any means just allows more advanced control. You can dedicate dedicated graphics devices to a specific VM if you are using a host OS that was made for virtualization and supports it. USB pass though with physical devices to VMs is sometimes confusing and all depends on the software you are running. In most windows based solutions you can use the same keyboard and mouse for several VMs but USB WiFi adapters, storage devices, and sounds devices you have to choose weather you want it to be a host only device or chose the VM that it will be passed through to.
  8. If you store games on a HDD instead of an SSD you may encounter longer loading times but if you are on a 7200rpm you speeds should be more than usable and satisfactory. Using a SSD for boot is always a good idea for faster boot times and in some cases faster OS operation. Here is a great site on this topic: http://www.pcgamer.com/how-do-ssds-affect-gaming-performance/
  9. the first 3 links that I provided were from 2017 and 2 of them specifically stated iPhone 6 plus or s.
  10. If you are running IOS 11, than it appears to be a bug. You can try reducing white point (Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Reduce White Point (turn it off)). If that does not work you can also disabling reduce transparency if it is on (Settings > General > Accessibility > Increase Contrast > Reduce transparency (turn it off)). If neither of these fixes work here are a few sites that may be able to help you. 11. I remember that but this was just shipped out to linus yesterday according to the video.
  12. What phone are you using and what version of the OS for that phone are you running?
  13. That is what I am assuming but from the video the KVM looks much better then the one I currently have and very well priced. The only reason I think that he may feature it in a video was that it was sent from a fellow respected tech youtuber.
  14. If you are willing to fork out the full $250 and have an AMD GPU than this would be a great monitor for gaming. Even without an AMD GPU I feel this would be a great monitor.
  15. In this video dropped yesterday from Level 1 tech he said that he was shipping one of their new KVMs to Linus. Now if I am correct I believe that he was talking about out Linus, Linus Sebastian. Personally I very interested in this KVM and and hoping for Linus to do a video on it. I was curious on what the rest of the community though.
