I think you should try accessing the bios and clearing the hdd

Buy a z270. I would reccomend Asus or MSI. For psu anything gold certified from corsair and the evga g2 or g3 are good

Correct me if I'm wrong ,but I heard the 6700k is better than the 7700 if both are locked. The 6700k is cheaper than the 7700 at microcenter.
