I bought a new power supply because the only way this one would work is with a normal fan blowing on it, I just opened it up because I wanted to put it in another computer and I wanted to see the fan and how much dust was in it and this like plastic shroud was screwed into it. What is it? Is this why it need a fan blaring on it?

So I'm using this OC Tuner Utility, it's a BIOS program, and I'm not monitoring the voltage and I didn't change it manually.

So after adjusting some settings I got the base CPU clock, 3.60 GHz, to 4.25 GHz. Then I ran Cinebench two more times, improving my 199 to a 236, eventually to a 265. This seems like a big improvement but still very bad. Thoughts?

There was an option saying CPU OverClocking so I set it to Overclock Profile, Overclock 10%. I'm not experienced at all so is this bad?

So recently I got a Hyper 212 Evo and I've always wanted to overclock so I just tried it out (very simply) and when I did my Cinebench test I got a 199. That looks to be really bad. If anyone has any suggestions on how to overclock my CPU better it would be very helpful. The FX-4100 is a quad core CPU, but it shows up as a dual core with 4 threads? Also if anyone has tips for optimizing my system for streaming it would help because my performance is terrible while streaming. :)) Thank you!!

I have an old pile of hardware my brother got, and we assembled it and when it finally posted, it had weird colours and symbols. I'm thinking it's the old ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, while my brother thinks it's the ABIT IC-7. Any help or insights are appreciated. 20180118_170304.mp4

I have been searching for a few weeks for a laptop to enter high school with, but also recreational use. I've been looking for; Quad core, 2.8+ GHz CPU Touchscreen Backlit Keyboard Dedicated GPU 16+ GB RAM (upgradeable?) 500+ GB SSD (upgradeable?) Possible Thin & Light Under $1000 USD USB Type-C (charging?) If anyone has or can find a laptop fitting these needs, it would be greatly appreciated.
