  1. Oops, didn't know that section existed! Thanks for the Heads-Up!
  2. And i tell you what, this sound is even more annoying than coil while. It sounds like someone dragging a rock very audibly. Or you might say it sounds like a bubbling noise in a box. My phone only recorded air, but i could hear it from 3 meters away! Probably seek noise? How do i fix it?
  3. I would say the sold them for under... lets say 30$
  4. In fact i could make more than a hundred with just the contacts.
  5. Aaaand... what better uses that making $60+ from simply PCIe contacts?
  6. Nah i just wanted to test if it works or not before i extract gold from it.
  7. Actually, it's not that hot. The air around it is warm, and i touched it and it was fine.
  8. Haha, exactly what happens at my house. Short timeline about 50% of all these types of experiences: 2014: Grandma asks me 565674569459098609609456 times a day to help her with her phone. She's a filipino so she says "PAKISUYO NAMAN ANAK ANONG IPIPINDOT KO?!" (translates into "Please son WHAT DO I PRESS ON THIS (DAMN) PHONE?!") And it was an iPhone. An expensive piece of hardware that has gone to waste because of an old lady's unknowledgeable mind towards tech. 2015a: I got an amazing new Dell AIO PC that has really good specs compared to my previous one. It had W8 installed on it. My parents set it up for me (they bought me that for my 12th birthday) and i felt super immature. They said they would call me downstairs when they finished, but it took more than an hour. I said "Hmm, why is it taking so long? Setting up Windows 8 (i already had a laptop with W8 on it that time) shouldn't be that hard. Turns out they were having a hard time with the internet. We only had a modem that time with only one ETH output, and no WiFi. They were trying to do the network bridge method, but of course, Setup doesn't allow you to use a bridged connection. 2015b: Installed a new router i got from Amazon. Again, my dad thought he could do it, but i ended up doing it for him. He didn't know a thing about Wireless and IoT. 2016a: Got a brand new phone (Google Nexus) my grandma wanted it, so i gave it to her one day. And she plugged the charging port the wrong way (facepalm) with a lot of force. You know what happened. She broke my port, and shredded up the bottom part of the phone's motherboard. Never gave a phone to her after that. 2016b: FINISHED MY FIRST GAMING RIG!!!! My sis and i were arguing about our devices (keep in mind shes only 8) and she said i have 10.I only have 4. My phone, Tablet, PC, TV. Me: "10? Wth?" She pointed to my monitors and mouse and pc and old graphics cards. She also told my parents hich thought i had secretly bought things again. As a result i got grounded from using my then 5-hour-old PC for 2 weeks. Waste of time. I never even got to set it up after i built it. 2017: Started my server, my dad turns it off thinking that it is another one of my gaming pcs taking power. I have a fairly hard life here. Nah, jk. My life is good except for the times when my Granny calls me about her phone. She doesn't even know hoe to answer calls.
  9. Hmm.... that's one right there. You're right that if they make a gaming edition then there would be a music edition etc. But for example, Valve made SteamOS based on their steam app in Windows. Why can't Microsoft do the same? I mean, do they realize that their OSes are the ones that are being used by 99% of the whole PC gaming population? Why don't they make an OS built specifically on that? Other editions like you said (music edition, editing edition, etc.) are already incorporated in Windows 10 Home and pro. But if they made a gaming Edition, then they would prioritize the gamers' most important needs.
  10. And i'm talking specifically about Windows 10. There's already W10 Home, W10 Enterprise, and W10 Pro. Don't you think MS should make a Windows 10 Gaming edition or just Windows Gaming Edition? And maybe it should have more GPU drivers, support for 2+ TB drives and automatic pooling (storage). And also some changes to the GUI and maybe some additional built-in apps like a universal RGB LED controller would be there. And most importantly, AN FPS COUNTER IN ALL GAMES. Idk why i thought of this, it just popped into my mind.
  11. This is a good VGA Cable i have, and i couldn't find the heatsink. I tried taking one off from another AGP card but it was literally glued on it. Do you think there are still like drivers for this? Oh and i also plugged the VGA cable into the port on my motherboard. It also did not work.
  12. Recently my dad and i found an old Radeon HD 3450 lying in an e-waste pile. It looks like this: Now when i plugged it into my ASUS motherboard's PCIe slot, it didn't quite work. I plugged a VGA cable into it and my monitor. Nothing. Now this is where is gets interesting. I now unplugged it from my mobo and booted the computer up. Now the ASUS logo that shows up when the pc boots is normally white, but now it's changed to purple, and the windows loading screen has changed. Basically the hue was offset. Why is that? How do i fix it? And why isn't my GPU's VGA port working?
