  1. What are these stain looking things near the vrms?
  2. I saw in a LTT video that prime 95 isnt good for the CPU because it pushes it to much and can actually damage you CPU
  3. Amazingly I have so far gotten it to 4.9ghz with temps averaging around 74C granted this is the first time I overclock so idk if that's good but yea (:
  4. Well i wanted to give the 6500 to my uncle he'd be dying for his own PC and well I just thought to do something nice for him while upgrading my PC even if it's hardly anything don't really mind the money
  5. So I have a hyper 212 evo on my i5 6500 and it's doing amazing. But I just ordered a i5 7600k so I can give my 6500 to my uncle. Question is would the hyper 212 evo be adequate enough to cool it with a overclock? If so what temps should I be worrying about like 75 C and higher or what?
  6. I'm fairly new to pc building so i am not aware of what features are actually good or just plain gimmicks
  7. I want to buy a motherboard but I can seem to decide what to get. I am willing to spend around 140$ I have a intel i5 6500 and i just want a motherboard so I can quickly upgrade to the 6600k and not worry about it later on into the future. Also because I have a micro atx motherboard in a atx compatible case and I don't like the way it looks. I was thinking MSI Z270 tomahawk but I really don't know if I should get that one or something else. ( I would prefer if the motherboard is black, red or something dark I don't like bright colors)
  8. it does look better ill start to look at reviews
  9. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130871&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= do you think that this would be good for overclocking?
  10. I im trying to find a fairly cheap mother board that can support the I5 6500 i currently have and that can support the 6600k whenever i can upgrade. every time i look there are these 100$ motherboards but i dont know if they are worth it or i should get the cheapest atx board i can find (75$)
