  1. I've been using my pc for 6 years now and haven't upgraded much. I would have random hard freezes when gaming and I would have to shut my pc down only by using the power button. I have PC manager installed and I've noticed that my pc freezes when my temporary files reach around 850mb. CPU: I7-7700k RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 2X16GB Motherboard: MSI Z270 gaming M7 GPU: Asus Strix GTX 1080TI OC PSU: Silverstone 750W Gold Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64bit BIOS: Version 1.70 Any help is appreciated.
  2. The game is Destiny 2. I've never had frame drops since the dual monitor setup.
  3. i also forgot to mention that the acer monitor is pretty old so it has a vga port and i have it connected to the pc with a help of a vga to display port adapter. I'm not sure if that could be problem.
  4. I just checked and it shows that the game is using the most resource. When the frames drop, the game is using about 90% of the cpu resource. Do you know why that might be the case?
  5. I have an Asus ROG PG279Q and an Acer V193HQ. I'm using the second monitor for general web surfing and discord. But when I'm playing a game, i experience frame drops from time to time. Initially, i had both the displays connected to the graphic card, Asus ROG 1080TI, but since the frame drops, I thought it might be cause of the overload on the GPU so i switched the second monitor over to the integrated graphics and had to change the setting for IGPU in the BIOS settings but i still for some reason seem to have the same frame drops even after seperating the two displays.
  6. I have a Dell inspiron with windows 8.1 pro. Whenever I download large files over a span of time, it switches to limited access for no apparent reason. This doesn't usually happen when surfing the internet, but only when I'm downloading larger files. It resets once i disconnect and reconnect back to my wifi.
  7. So what you are saying is that the display natively supports 75hz?
  8. So my friend has a monitor which has a refresh rate of 60 hz but for some reason he can increase it to 75 hz when he lowers his resolution. I've seen him change it both in game and in the display adapter settings. How is this possible?
  9. No it's just that one port, the other ports are working fine.
  10. Err... there's only one usb 3 port on the motherboard how do i swap that?
  11. As per me, all the front panel connectors are connected. Well one of the usb 3.0 ports is working and the other isn't. The last two are usb 2.0. In short, i'm having problem with only one port.
