    I recently came across 3 identical dual socket Mac pros from 2009. I want to get one running with my Vega 64 and dual boot windows and macOS. I am having trouble getting my Vega to video out though, there were no drives or graphics cards that came with these systems but they all have cpus ram and the other stock parts. Any tips or ideas?

    Tried it with firmware installed and no firmware installed. Tried a few different ways with the usb for an offline update. Any last ideas before its toast?

    So i need to mount the drive as a ntfs and assign a letter? i wiped it on windows and left it as unpartitioned. I may have mounted it last time, i assume this could be the fix? kinda sucks since tis already put back together but worth a shot thats probably it. thanks!

    I recently replaced my Xbox 1 S's internal storage drive with a 1 terabyte ssd. I am trying to do an offline system update with a flashdrive, however I get error codes e106 and e101. I have read e106 is related to a cache error so I left my xbox unplugged and will try again later. My usb drive is just the system update folder in NTFS so I am seeking some help. I have done this before but never had this problem as it usually fixes itself or I fanangle a solution. Thank you for your help.

    Hi I am running windows 11 on my 11400 with a vega 64 and all my drivers are up to date. As of this morning I have had no luck opening microsoft store. Whenever i click on it it opens momentarily then closes. I have reset a few times and tried killing the process in task manager, but nothing helps. Any ideas?

    I am Running a 5930k right now and I was wondering if the 6900k or 6950x would be a better option, or just not worth the money. On paper, both processers are much faster than my i7, however I mostly game at 1080/1440p. Would it be smarter to just save for a platform upgrade down the line? Thanks.

    the drive is detected when used through usb, however, the sata connection still is not working.

    Disk management doesnt see it, cant see it through DISKPART and listing disks in terminal. Not detected by device management either. I dont care what is on it, im just going to download games to it once its good to go, and its not new, I used it in my xbox one s for a bit, then reformatted to ntfs on a friends computer.

    I am trying to use a WD green 1 terabyte ssd as a game storage device, and windows doesnt want to pick it up. It worked in a usb enclosure, which I formatted it on a different pc to be used with this one. It is detected by my motherboard as a 1 tb wd green etc etc. Just windows wont even acknowledge the drive exists. This same problem occurred when I had an adata 240 gigabyte ssd. What can I do to fix this? I tried downloading and installing firmware for it and new sata port, bios defaults and nothing still.

    In my BIOS, there is an option to use IGPU and dedicated graphics. I have a 970 and a 11400 I5, almost all games I play are GPU limited. I only see about 30 to 50 percent CPU usage In most games. (at 1080p). If I used the integrated graphics alongside my 970 could I see any kind of feasible performance gain? or would it just be like very poor sli/no effect at all?

    Are all your drivers up to date? If yes, maybe try reinstalling a previous stable driver and see if there is any difference.

    Hey! So my current keyboard is about 5 years old now. It was a $30 cherry mx blue clone off of amazon, and keys are failing. I am looking to upgrade to something more reputable, preferably mechanical of some sort. I was thinking brown switches or red, something quieter but still tactile. Any suggestions for around/under $100 usd? Thanks!

    i have 3 m.2 slots and 1 m.2 wifi slot so i think m.2 is the move, and im sorry! i meant PCIE just had a small brain moment. So theres not gonna be any noticeable performance difference?

    I am looking to buy a wifi card soon. I used to own a rosewill pcie wifi card and it "worked" and I am wondering if a pcie or m.2 solution would be better? Amazon has a intel 6 Gig m.2 card for about 23 bucks, is pci any different for about 10 more dollars?

    I have a reference blower card lol so sound isn't the biggest deal for me. More worried about cooling and longevity!

    I am upgrading to a Meshify C as my A500 from corsair does not fit in my current case. I found 140mm fans from kinguin on amazon for $7 usd. I plan to use a fan controller to keep the speeds down, and the noise, would these be a reasonable investment or should I pay extra for nicer fans?     I am aware all gpu prices are horribly inflated, but I recently bought an Asus Turbo 970 for $190 USD. Did I get nae naed or not? All the prices in my area were 200 and above and this was the lowest I could get for a competent graphics card

    Thanks for the info. they seem very new so its hard for me to find lots of information on them. I will only really be using basic stuff on my mac. That sounds sick, iphone apps native on macbook? Looking forward to that. Especially the increased graphics performance. Would the M1 chip out perform the i7/i5 in 13in notebook in regards to gaming? i know the integrated graphics are quite weak.

    are you referring to the 8 core apple chips that are listed under the cheapest skews? Does that mean they have better performance in native macos? I do not plan on runnning bootcamp, however 512 gbs with a higher performing cpu for less cost sounds good to me...

    For sure, and thank you. I feel like investing in a 512 gb ssd as opposed to the 256 would be the move. As more storage never hurts and I double I will use more than 6 gb of ram at a time.
