  1. Yeah pretty much everything is identical to the k95. That's one gripe I have with my current k70 is the media keys are hard to see and use if you're looking at them from an angle, but the k95 fixes that. They still haven't officially announced anything from what I've seen but I guess we'll see soon if Amazon leaked it.
  2. Alright then ignore everything I said
  3. If the headphones aren't advertised as 7.1 I'm 99.9% sure it won't work as 7.1. That's not to say you won't get better directional sound though, and directional sound on stereo speakers can still be pretty amazing. I'd wait for someone else who knows more to say something here since I'm not really an audiophile expert, but if no one else says anything you should at least have this
  4. I guess though if you want to justify it I would consider speeds to be a pretty significant upgrade over reds for gaming, and if you get the white it will come with their double shot PBT keycaps as well as better reflections for brighter lights and an arguably better aesthetic depending on what you have. I personally like the standard color more but the better keycaps might make it worth it. Everything else looks like a k95, and after looking at it for a while it has a bigger wrist wrest and the same bigger media keys as a k95 as well as the rgb logo.
  5. Yeah I would too. Although if I were to upgrade from my k70 I'd rather get a k95 so I'll probably wait until they release a new k95... That way I could better justify it You could always "accidentally" spill water on it when cleaning lol
  6. I just saw this on amazon when looking at keyboards Is this old news? It looks to me like a k95 without the lightbar or macros... Still not sure if there has been any official mention by Corsair and I can't find information on it anywhere online. Curious what people think. Edit: There is also a white version Edit 2: It looks like they took it down but you can still see the "older" models are called mk1 under style.
  7. Good to know. Thanks for the help
  8. I've been looking for new open back headphones and the 598s look pretty great. I'm curious if they're still good even though they're a few years old. I've never had open back or audiophile headphones, and I have been trying to move away from gaming headsets. I'll mostly be gaming, but I also listen to a lot of music at my computer as well as watch movies every now and then. I'm open to other suggestions too in the same price area.
  9. I think I figured it out. Even though my board is already out, my friend's MSI board isn't released until the 25th. My guess is because they are paired together for delivery I won't get mine until he does. Rip.
  10. I'm in the US, Washington State. Boards were ordered a couple days ago with the processor and ram
  11. I just got my ryzen 7 2700x and RAM and noticed my motherboard hasn't shipped yet. I ordered an asus prime x470, and my friend who's board also hasn't shipped ordered an msi pro carbon x470. Not really a huge issue, just curious if anyone has had an x470 board ship yet.
  12. When Ryzen 2 launches, I'm going to do a big upgrade on my computer. Right now, I have a p400s. As much as I love the case, my graphics card temperatures are high and I want to top mount my radiator. I need recommendations for a new case to help fix these issues. Criteria: *Decent airflow. Better than a p400s but doesn't need to be anything extreme *Looks good, tempered glass would be great *Support for ATX board/PSU and a large GPU (I have a strix card) *Support for a top mounted AIO (I have an h100i) *Good cable management. Some space behind the motherboard would be nice. Extra features that would be nice include: *Integrated RGB of some kind *Dedicated SSD mounts *Smaller footprint/less wasted space I don't want to spend more than 150 dollars, but if the case comes with some of those extra features I'd be willing to pay up to 200. I've been looking at the h700i, but the price is steep. It hits most of the points on the list, but I don't know if I want to spend that much I also have looked at the meshify C, but I have concerns about the radiator mixed with that graphics card, and I have no real way to test if it will work on the top with the motherboard/ram.
  13. That shouldn't be a problem. The pump has a fan controller on it and it seems to work really well with the stock fans. Thanks for the advice though!
