Yes, i'm going with non K version, it was mostly placeholder, so i can see if we still fit in the budget. I'm not sure about going lower with PSU (Last year's shown that modern hardware can suck a lot of power and considering possibility of upgrade in a future i don't want to limit this system) beside Be-Quiet once saved my ass while there was power malfunction in our building. overcurrent protection saved the system which was our server at the time. I don't know which board partner would be the best to go with, but after slicing CPU cost we have some room in our budget to find something better. Maybe we'll end up going with more RAM, but I need to consult the buyer about it. I'm not sur about the MOBO also. I mean yeah, it's decent but maybe we can save a buck, without losing features.

You never said what is your budget. I run this CPU with GTX 1080 and 750 W PSU. It seem that you wanna save a buck. Did you consider buying used parts ?

I got my hands on old server dell unit. Basically for free, I was wondering about adding graphics card to it and using it as low budget gaming rig from time to time to co-op with my GF. The problem is that it has some weird ass PSU ... Somewhat proprietary or something, It doesn't have a pcie power connector at all. Mobo power is 8 pin ... So either I find a way to change the PSU that fits and have pcie power, or I find a way to power graphics card with the old one ? I was thinking about external power for now just for testing ... What do you guys think about it?

Hi guys, I bought corsair K55 RGB PRO. Was pretty excited to finally use somewhat decent keyboard. I plugged it in to my pc, used a MOBO port just next to the Ethernet, I wanted to on download software for RGB and ... I wasn't able to connect to internet at all. It seems network card stoped to recognize ethernet cable is plugged in. I tried restarting PC, network card, reinstaling Lan drivers, all to no avail. Is it ... Fried? And if so, Why the hell ... What can I do to further diagnose the issue? Maybe it's software after all? The internet connection stopped the moment I plugged the keyboard ... Btw. I have pretty long Ethernet cable running across the apartment, 40 m or something like that. I have some amount of it laying/hanging under my desk in a spool, I moved pc yesterday, I guess it could be the cable as well. Allright guys perhaps it's not exactly "troubleshooting" topic but ... I built new PC, and I wanted to utilize old system SSD with windows 10 installed. As expected it wasnt that easy .... despite i've done such things with laptops or older pc's with no issues, I knew there were some security fetures to prevent me from taking drive off anybody and runnig it on different hardware. This is the message i see: What can i do, for it to go as smoothly as possible? I don't want to lose the data, i still have the old system.

There is not much we can tell just now, but there is a Global Incident with GFN: Users have issues accessing and launching games. Like, seriously - all games ....
