  1. I just built a new pc with the msi b550 gaming edge wifi and can not install Windows on my nvme sad. I can't even enter bios. If I plug my old sata ssd in with a windows installation it boots directly into windows. with the nvme the system turns on but there is no display output either. when using the sata ssd games cannot run, I start them and they immediately close. specs: CPU: r5 5600x RAM: Crucial Ballistix 3600 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory Kit 16GB (8GBx2) CL16 BL2K8G36C16U4B MOBO: MSI B550 gaming edge wifi GPU: msi rx 580 gaming x (same one that was in my old pc) psu: Seasonic FOCUS GM-750, 750W 80+ Gold, Semi-Modular Nvme drive: Samsung 970 Evo plus 500gb
  2. I just got a laptop with a 1050 ti and want to get all the drivers set up, but on nvidia's site when selecting the series there's 10 series and 10 series (notebook). Which do I choose?
  3. So overall would you recommend or suggest something else? I might try to undervolt the gpu a little to help with heat.
  4. I am looking for a thin and light laptop for college and games. I like the thickness and look of the HP Pavilion Power Gaming Laptop. How is it?
  5. I am looking for a thin and light laptop for college and games. I like the thickness and look of the ASUS M580VD. How is it?
  6. I think I'll like this one except it doesn't have an ssd. I would have to get one separately then reinstall the windows on it.
  7. What about the Dell i5577-7700BLK-PU Or the ASUS M580VD-EB54 VivoBook ?
  8. I am looking for a thin and light gaming laptop under or at $900. I know of the ASUS M580VD-EB54 but heard some negative things about it so I'm not sure about it. But it does seem thin and light enough.
  9. So I'm looking at laptops right now and am considering this one with 12gb of ram. I assume it is 8+4. The question is will it operate in dual channel or not?
  10. No, that seems too thick and I dont like the aesthetics. I really want a laptop that comes with an sad so the os can be pre installed on it so I dont have to bother doing it. A 1060 would be nice but not that practical for my price range, and a 1050 or 1050 ti would use less power.
  11. Visually I like this one (the size is nice, thinner than the inspirons, simple look) ASUS M580VD-EB54 VivoBook 15.6" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072C7TNBZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_kKMmAbKTX73QD And I could also add an hdd to it. What are the minor issues you have with it?
