Hiya I'm fairly tech savy like I watch der8baur and buildzoid and love to overclock so I got new patriot viper 4400mhz today and 1 stick works but the other one doesn't. I've tested the other with my old ram and every combo with the slots and it refuses to post (dram led is lit) also reset bios but didn't help 2600x Asus b450 f gaming (tried bios 3101 3001 2901) (Old ram) gskill 3200mts c16 (New ram) patriot viper Steel 4400mts 2x8

Hello. I posted a couple days ago and had some help which determined the problem to be these 2 chips (think there diode) as they are ticking when I have the 24pin and 8pin in my Asus crosshair v formula z. I am not sure if there is a part name as I can't see one and can't find a board overview anywhere. So my question is does anyone know what they are?

There is no Q code. It is blank. Like I say the lights on the board light up. I had to physically short the pins because the start and restart are not working. And still Physically shorting the pins still didn't make it turn on. Bit even a fan spin. I have both switches to OFF position. I have got the 8 pin 12v EPS connector in the correct socket.

The power button does not do anything and even shorting the pins for front panel power switch does nothing. hello. i have been messing with my discord server with webhooks for a couple days and i was wondering if i could add a webook that wasn't my account. i have tried IFTTT and i have to sign in to my account eg facebook twitter instagram. so im asking if i can add a webhook (example linus tech tips twitter feed to my discord server) without having to own the account. - thank you

Hello. i bought a GTX 1070 strix and i have 2 monitors. Hp L1940T (1280 x 1024 60hz) and MNT DiGITAl19W (1440 x 900 60hz) i put i custom resolution on the 900p monitor of 1920 x 1080 60hz . i had a XFX r7 260x Core edition before the upgrade and it ran it fine same timings res and hz. i have tried the presets GFT DMT CVT CVT reduced blanking. and the monitor runs it and windows see's it. but in most games GTA 5 Far Cry 2 Deus ex human rev. but in fortnite doom quke 3 arena Minecraft world of warcraft. lol planet coaster. dolphin emulator cirta emulator and many more only see the native resolution of 1440 x 900 60HZ . is there a fix or should i buy new monitor which has 1080p native

Hello i was wondering which GPU would be better for my setup. my budget is 325 pounds which on looking on gumtree (ebay to expenceive) 1070 is about $250 1070TI $300 1080 sometimes around 300. specs FX 8350 @4.2GHZ 31c (i have a oc profile for 4.6GHZ at 1.38v 42c) Asus M5a97 Rv 2.0 (VRM temp at 31c) 8GB 2x4GB Corsair XMS DDR3 1333MHZ (OC 1600MHZ 9 9 9 18 1.4v) Noctua NH D15-S XFX Core R7 260x (OC Core 1175MHZ MEM 1550MHZ) Corsair RMX 650W 80+ Gold Samsug 850 Evo 500GB SilverStone RV02 2x 1080p 60HZ monitors I Know the Graphics card will bottleneck. just want better FPS and have a good GPU for when i upgrade CPU. -thank you
