  1. MSI X570-A PRO, and no the previous one was not the same. The CPU was fine when I moved it to the new motherboard.
  2. I have tried it, and ran the windows memory test on the current new kit, it showed no errors. It's not a memtest run but that's next.
  3. I personally have G.Skill Trident Z Neo's in my gaming PC, and G.Skill Ripjaws V in my home NAS, paired with a Ryzen 5700x and a 5900x respectably. I'll have to pull one of those kits and give them a try in computer I'm having issues with. If it turns out to be ram I'll definitely look into a pair of Ballistix. Tried without XMP enabled (2666) and underclocking to 2133, same issues. I've never had a problem with "high speed ram"(currently run 3600Mhz) and ryzen personally since the 2xxx's but I wouldn't call 3200Mhz high speed comparative to the speeds I've seen and have ran before that's why I got this Teamgroup kit.
  4. It has a pair of 16gb 3200 Teamgroup ram (TLZGD432G3200H). It's on the supported ram list for the motherboard which is the only reason I bought specifically this. I have ran the windows memory Diags on it, showed no errors. I have some sticks of old 2666 G.Skill ripjaws V currently running in my server that I'm about to pull out and test with when I get the chance, but I seriously doubt the ram is the problem here. I would try running Manjaro(or some other form of linux), but it's not my PC so I have to have it run windows reliably.
  5. Have found something that might have something to do with it, not sure. Some event viewer logs about LogonUI.exe crashing with amdxx64.dll. Sig[0].Name=Application Name Sig[0].Value=LogonUI.exe Sig[1].Name=Application Version Sig[1].Value=10.0.22000.120 Sig[2].Name=Application Timestamp Sig[2].Value=7d1c9b17 Sig[3].Name=Fault Module Name Sig[3].Value=amdxx64.dll Sig[4].Name=Fault Module Version Sig[4].Value=30.0.21017.1000 Sig[5].Name=Fault Module Timestamp Sig[5].Value=628338fe Sig[6].Name=Exception Code Sig[6].Value=c0000005 Sig[7].Name=Exception Offset Sig[7].Value=00000000001fa970 Trying to remove and replace LogonUI.exe with the instructions found here. Will update when I can.
  6. Yeah, installed a brand new NVME ssd and replaced the hard drive with a new one also prior to replacing the ram and motherboard. Pretty much have stock windows with only completely necessary drivers and software and still having the same problems. Alot of the crashes point to ntoskrnl.exe through reinstalls, and I'm not experienced enough with windbg to actually be able to diagnose exactly what driver it is.
  7. Hi all, I'm extremely stumped here, and need some help. I have a computer, that had some problems about a month ago with windows crashing, found out the ram was incompatible with the motherboard, so I bought new ram. Still had crashes, so I replaced the motherboard. Found out the power supply was 10 years old, so I replaced that as well. Have also replaced the GPU and im still getting constant crashing. It's now a 3600x, with a 6600xt with 32GB of ram and a 750 watt powersupply. I have also reinstalled windows about 6 times now, with different ISO's and versions of both 11 and 10 with no luck. Have also replaced the SSD and HDD. Feel like this PC is haunted at this point. BSOD Codes have ranged from IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL to PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA to SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. Alot of the crashes point to ntoskrnl.exe through reinstalls So please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached is a windows log collector from another forum that holds all the dmps, system info and error logs you could need. DESKTOP-QFN7MVS-2022-06-26_20-39-49.zip
  8. I wouldn't try it. Has the small possibility to short out. I'd recommend just grabbing some really really really really cheap fans off new egg, like the ones linked. Don't know what your case supports so here's multiple sizes 120mm: https://www.newegg.com/rosewill-rfa-120-k-case-fan/p/N82E16835200048 140mm: https://www.newegg.com/rosewill-rnbd-131409-case-fan/p/N82E16835200094
  9. Believe me I know. I would give the brand and everything but I had to go to work and don't have the model and everything on hand. Should've been more clear but I've used this exact power supply in multiple builds (still using the same one) and have never had a problem with it so I meant it's more reputable to me personally.
  10. Tried multiple cables, display port, HDMI, DV-I on multiple monitors. Still nothing
  11. Got an ASROCK B450 PRO4 with ryzen 2600 brand new. Put everything together, powered on and no post/no display. Fans spin and everything looks good. Only thing i've noticed is that the CPU fan will change rpm every 5-10 seconds.I have tried:Resetting CMOSReseating RAM1 stick of RAM in every slotChecked display outputs on every possible output, including motherboard(i know it's not going to display anything there, just worth the try)Anyone have any ideas or has dealt with this before?Build is:Ryzen 2600ASROCK B450 pro416gb of Aegis 3000 2x8gb F4-3000C16D-16GISBGTX 970500w power supply (Forgot the brand but it's a reputable brand.) EDIT: I've used this exact power supply in multiple builds (still using the same one) and have never had a problem with it.
  12. Thanks everyone who gave me a build and advice! I will post here in a few days which one i end up getting, as i still havent decided lol. Thanks and Merry Christmas! TheSavageTaco
  13. i built it a few years back then added the 1080 recently. i checked the warranty, it was only 2 year and i built it 3ish years ago. i sold off my other gpu though.
  14. i would have a higher price point in a few months but i need a computer now, as im working with a Intel Pentium d '04 lol. My build of a Intel core i3 with a 1080 shorted with a power surge and everything including the CPU and GPU all died. The only thing i could salvage was my SSD (thank god). I desperately need a computer for school to at least run word. I know i could just go for a like a Chromebook and get it over with but i want something that can sorta game now and i can upgrade in the future to where it can play AAA titles easy. Sorry for not fully describing that in the start!
  15. i was thinking that for right now i can stick with the APU and buy a graphics card in the future, when i have the money? or would that be worse?
