  1. I’m planning out my new audio setup for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee 4door. The Jeep has 4 speaker locations but I plan on adding 2 or 4 extras. Most of the affordable/relatively affordable car amps have 4 channels. I have found that it is less expensive for me to buy two 4 channel amps or one 4 channel and one 2 channel amps than to buy a single 6 or 8 channel amp. In my mind having multiple amplifiers could cause the sound output to not be in sync between the two amplifiers. I understand the tuning could be different but that’s something I could easily fix. I’m concerned that the various speakers could be noticeable fractions of a second or more ahead/behind each other causing an echo. Say I were to buy two of the same 4 channel amps to power the six to eight speakers in the vehicle. Would this idea I have of an echo be something I would have to come up with a fix for? I have worked with car audio systems before on my previous vehicles but it’s only been with single amp setups.
  2. check and see if there are any driver updates for the GPU and download them onto a formatted USB then put that USB in the new computer and try to update inside the UFEI. I had a similar issue once and that solved it.
  3. You could try to test it with the 265 psu but do not put any kind of load on it. I’d even recommend loading the OS on a flash drive just so you don’t have to power and kind of hard drive or SSD. Although they don’t take much I would just do that to be safe.
  4. Pro tip: it’s always a good idea to give yourself a little elbow room when it comes to wattage. Just in case everything decides to spin up at once. Also NEVER cheap out on a power supply. Try to stick with reliable name brands because when a power supply goes out then there is a very high possibility that multiple components or your whole system could go out with it.
  5. I’d say that would be too much for that pay. At idle or basic web browsing you would be fine but as soon as you start doing anything that brings the CPU or GPU above 50% usage you’ll get a nice blue screen if not worse. I’d go up to around 400watts if I were you. Personally I wouldn’t go below that but you could get away with 350 I believe depending on your setup.
  6. You will need to do some hunting on eBay or Craigslist for that price point. Newegg has quite a few but they are all over $100. Heres one on ebay I just found. https://m.ebay.com/itm/MSI-MS-7788-H61M-P31-G3-Intel-LGA1155-mATX-Motherboard-I-O-Shield/183365961099?hash=item2ab176858b%3Ag%3A-SQAAOSwliJbac6S%3Asc%3AUSPSPriority!77037!US!-1&_nkw=1155+motherboard&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=p2380057.m4084.l1313.TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.X11.TRS0
  7. Those 1155 boards are kinda hard to come by now but I’ll give it a look. What is your budget?
  8. Everything on here looks great! The only thing I would recommend is to look at the Corsair 750D(and the high airflow version) case. I've used it in 3 builds and it has never disappointed me I believe its in the the same price range.
  9. Will you be using intgrated graphics?
  10. What will you be using this computer for? That will determne it.
  11. When I looked at autozone online the cheapest one was $200. Is that typical for an alternator?
  12. If you can afford the i7 then why not get it? Always get the best stuff you can afford.
  13. I need some help. I own a 2004 Mustang GT convertible with a failing alternator. Given the fact that I’m 17 I am obviously young, relatively dumb, and just about broke. This being said I have no idea what to look for in an alternator. I’m seeing prices range from $70-400USD and as most people I want to spend as little as possible and still get a reliable product. Can anyone help me find a new(at least new to me) alternator?? 2004 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L convertible
  14. Get the best you can afford within reason. If you have the funds get it. You would be just fine with a 1060/1070 imo.
  15. Make sure you have all of your drivers updated. I had a similar issue on my old rig and that fix it for me. If not then try a different monitor and if you still have the issue then you know it's your card. take a air cannon to the ports and HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort cable to in sure it isn't dust.
  16. I have a Noctua fans on my radiators. They are typically a little pricey so if you have the extra cash and don't mind the ugliness of them the I would recommend them. I use the NF-F12 iPPC-3000 fans
  17. Looks like you have everything in order. The only "issue" could be in the case. It doesn't seem to be quite ideal for a waterloop but then again most mid towers aren't.
  18. I was able to contact the CO by email last night. I received a phone call from him this morning to give him more information and he was pissed. I just got off the phone with him and the soldier causing the issue about 5 minutes ago and the issue was thoroughly taken care of to say the least. Thank you to everyone for your help and concern.
  19. I've already spoken to the police and it is not at the point where they can do anything ....yet. They recommended that I contact the CO and let him/her deal with the situation so hopefully the issue will be resolved before the police need to get involved.
  20. I recently found out that my sister, who is a minor, is being harassed by an old friend of hers that is stationed in a US Army base in South Korea. I have plenty of proof of the situation and would like so pass it on to his commanding officer so the issue can be put to rest quickly and easily. Only problem is I'm having some difficulty finding who his CO is or how to find a way contact him. Any ideas on how to find what I need? I figured I would call the local reserve and recruiting station a few towns over in the morning and ask them but does anyone know a way I could just do it myself?
  21. Synapse has been absolutely ridiculous in the past year so there is just about nothing you can do until the next update that will come with the next blue moon. I had the same issue with my Mamba.
  22. The reservoir material is very cheap on those things so I would recommend coating it with something if you are really going to do it. I would just buy an actual reservoir and fix some lights to it because many of them are built to have lights put in anyways.
  23. I personally would wait another month to see more reviews and benchmarks and allow AMD to work out any kinks they can. imo it's too early to have a definitive answer.
  24. How bad is the reliability issue?
