  1. Took this video No bluescreen, all my fans, anything in USB etc stop. Then it reboots.
  2. x470 Crosshair VII Hero Wifi 5900x 32gb 3200mhz 3080 Strix OC 10gb 850W Corsair HXi Plat ( 5 years old )
  3. So I am playing Hogwarts Legacy, tons of boxes around me so I try setting them all on fire for funny at once, PC instantly black screens and reboots. This happens every single time. Also happens on some other games I assume during high intensity moments. I put the frame limit at 60, got further but same end result I am at a bit of a loss into what could be happening. However recently I noticed it takes a lot longer for my PC to post and even start to boot. Do you think the PSU might be on the way out?
  4. I was just looking at NVME drives cause haha new stuff go zoom. Anyway, I noticed the Sabernt 1TB NVME 4.0 was only £80 ( not on sale ) I quickly checked other drives and Crucial have taken up to 30% off all there drives as have virtually everyone else. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-PCIe-Gen3-NVMe-Internal/dp/B0B25LZGGW/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1JV1ALVYHQKEM&keywords=NVME%2B1tb&qid=1675539031&s=computers&sprefix=nvme%2B1tb%2Ccomputers%2C53&sr=1-3&th=1 Did I miss something because I don't know why the prices have all just dropped so much so quickly
  5. If you've replaced the thermal paste, try a different cooler just to be safe. Otherwise it could be a faulty CPU / Sensor. If it is out of warranty, maybe de lid and use liquid metal inside?
  6. Finally learning how to delid CPU's, going to practice with a cheap 3770 obviously first. I've got everything I need, the only thing is what type of glue would you recommend for resealing? I've seen a lot of people say anything from superglue to silicon to just leave it and don't reglue. Therefore I'm a tad confused into what I should do. Thanks for the help James
  7. I've just set up a small PC for emulating wii games ( 3570k, old 7900 series GPU etc ) I was doing some benchmarks, installed the latest GPU drivers and now it takes a second to speed up to full speed. Not fully sure why but if anyone has any suggestions into what it could be please let me know Sorry for crappy photo below
  8. I made a post a while back about this but I’ve had some updates and it’s put me back to square one. During games I’ve been having a lot of BSODs with “WHEA_Uncontrollable_error” I looked in the event log and this was the error I was getting The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort1. ( No raid setup, however multiple SATA and M.2 Ports have broke ) if I tried verifying files on multiple SSDS it would crash, same with running games on those drives. i swapped the board and CPU back to my old x99 5820k and it’s working fine so i sent my MOBBO for an RMA however they’ve not been able to replicate the error. Could it be my CPU? I’m fully out of ideas
  9. Moved it to a different drive, launched, game crashes but no BSOD, got these errors. So it's happening on multiple drives therefore i think my motherboard might be dead Had a look, warranty expired a week ago :))))) The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort1.
  10. No overclocks running on any component
  11. I do have a spare AMD GPU lying around but that's it. Ran MemTest and got 0 errors after all passes. I also updated BIOS last night and removed all overclocks + XMP profiles, same with GPU. Only thing I have just noticed however is all the games which have caused a BSOD have been on the same drive so I am wondering if that could be the fault.
  12. About to give it a go. I just ran Prime95 and Superposition at the same time with no crash however if I run games it still crashes after some time. I am very confused.
  13. I don't have another PSU at hand unfortunately. I will try out the RAM tomorrow and the windows one is the built in version but I can give the other a go as well. Thanks for the help!
  14. I keep getting a super fast Whea Uncorrectable Error BSOD when playing games. It happens both randomly and if I do something like Alt Tab out of a game. Tried running Superposition stress test however it didn't replicate the crash, Windows memory check also confirmed no RAM issues so I'm at a bit of a loss. Also tried reinstalling windows and all drivers. Any help would be appreciated
  15. I have these, the ethernet is for backhaul so if a cable broke it would have no downtime or issues along with second optional routes. You can plug stuff into these ports as well. So I go from my router into one then into a switch. But I also have some things plugged into the ports in other rooms.
  16. Tbh with it being an exe and downloaded directly to a drive and not hidden in some weird program, It does seem like the shop done it. Does google reviews of the location have anything similar?
  17. Will do that now, have swapped it through devices but maybe a reboot will help.
  18. Tried different HDMI and the second HDMI socket on the monitor but no change. Friend doesn't have a display port cable.
  19. So very strange update, changed the hz rate from 60 to 144 and it fixed itself??
  20. Doesn't have HDR, out of the box settings. I assume it's a backlight issue or something as it looks fine through sharescreen just obviously not in person.
  21. My friend bought a msi optix g271 and for some odd reason it looks like this using any device (Pc, mac, PS5) and any other HDMI cable. Anyone have a clue what could be causing it or is it busted?
  22. Reinstalled windows correctly, fixed the issue :P Thanks for the help!
  23. Just wondering, maybe it’s because insider build ? Perhaps it’s more restricted or something
