  1. Hi, My family have a sheet metal company and I wanted to try laser/punch my own case as some sff cases like the velka are hard to get due to delivery fees I have been searching online but most itx and sff cases are for 3D printing. I was wondering if anyone had done something similar already and what options they had found? I’m interested in the designs such as the velka 3/5 as well as the some of the more ali express cases like Acat s1 or the sgpc k39 TIA
  2. Yeah think I’m going for the 2070 super can’t justify the massive price for the little gains of anything higher than a 2070s
  3. Yeah I’ve heard about this red dead situation. I’ve been playing console mainly just because of ease. But just building a new rig and last piece to get is a new gpu can’t decide what’s best for the price
  4. I went and got it just earlier. Amazing piece of kit I must say. Just need to get a gpu to power it
  5. Cool! I’ve been using a 1080p 60hz aoc display for 4 years and trying to do coding on one monitor has become a pain and probably time to come into the real world
  6. So I have the chance the to pick up the Dell Alienware AW3418DW for around £600, it’s a newer revision so hopefully less prone to the old flickering issue. It also has all original box and accessories and had 2 year warranty from dell left would it be worth picking up? Or is there better options? TIA
  7. I appreciate the pc part picker lists. However, I more wanted to know if the one I had shown was a good value? If not is there any better pre-built systems out there. I don't want hassle of troubleshooting and I like the idea of the warranty being with one company instead of individual ones
  8. Yeah I have, I've already got a cheap laptop for lectures. I wanted a decent pc for in my room, instead of having to travel back and forth with existing pc which has a i5-4460 and a gtx660
  9. Don't mind Amd or intel just want best I can get for my money
  10. I'm looking to upgrade/buy a secondary for me going to university. I'm not keen on putting together my own build and have been looking at prebuilds. Is there any better or anything I should consider? I'm from the UK looking to spend £900-£1000
  11. Currently looking at getting myself a 2560x1080. Could be subject to change to a 3440x1440 though.
  12. I'm putting together my first PC build and was looking for people's opinions on what gpu to buy. I'm from the Uk, So will need to be in GBP. I'm looking to run a single ultrawide monitor and possibly a 40" Led tv non 4K. My max budget is £250. I was also hoping to get something that I can maybe use sli with in the future as a performance upgrade or move onto another card. the specs for the PC are: Intel 6600k Msi z170-a-pro 16gb hyper x fury ram Case is nzxt s340 elite so needs to fit in that. psu is dependant on gpu have few in mind already
  13. Cheers I'll defiantly look into the 6700, I was looking at 6600k due to the ability to oc? What would you recommend for a psu?
  14. I'm a first time builder and was looking for some advice. I'm looking at spending around £1100 max. I'm open to suggestions and what will get me the best for my money. If there are cheaper alternatives which are better performance for price I'm done with that. I'm looking to run solid frames on games such as watch dogs 2 and other new games. I'm currently on running 1080p, but looking to move to a widescreen monitor and a higher res. Yes I am from the UK, so the currency is GBP, sorry for any inconveniences. Below is a link of parts I have put together using PC part picker. Thanks https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/p6nt9W
