There are tons of smaller youtube channels. With all these technologies getting cheaper, a lot of them have very good video quality and professional looking content.

I would focus on good lighting (can be cheap if you have basic DIY skills) and high quality audio. But don't be the guy who has great image quality, but films his hands on his table or shows his face off more than the product.

In my opinion, the most important thig is being able to write a good script. Everytime I'm looking for a review and only find smaller channels, there are several with amazing lighting, sound and video quality, but all they do is read the specs and marketing points out loud, show the product 4 times, point at it and go around in circles, forgetting what they already said.

(Sorry, this turned into quite a rant, I didn't know I was this angry about this subject )

Thank you for that. I don't understand how those guys ever plan to get a following when they say nothing.

I'd recommend finding a style, maybe adding some humour and silly editing instead of just cutting the video together. You can choose if you want to have your own audience or be the video people go to because they googled the product and want to see it better than the stock photos. I think there is a way to do both at the same time - no long intros and only short jokes, but that's on you.

And don't forget, I'm just one guy, everyone has suggestions and you have to pick what way you will do YOUR content. Because at the end of the day, it's yours, and you have to like it as well.

A noob question here: The thing has a USB Type C port, can we plug in a eGPU?
