  1. Hey guys! Recently, I've decided to purchase a workstation ultrabook for school. I tend to focus on ultrabooks with great portability, decent performance, and a superb battery life. Looking and researching through all types of laptops, I've concluded to get either the Hp Spectre x360 13 inch (i5 7200U/8gb/256gb) or the Dell XPS 13 (same specs). However, the Dell XPS 13 is renowned to have frequent coil whines, yet some people recommend it. So, please feel free to recommend either one of these powerful ultrabooks. As always, thank you!
  2. Hey about the XPS 13 9360, did Dell fully fix the coil whining issue?
  3. It's a bit overpriced compared to other brands
  4. Just a regular 25800 mAh powerbank: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01K6TA748/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1487323081&sr=8-1-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=anker&psc=1
  5. Hey guys, quick question here: Can an Anker powerbank fast charge the Dell XPS 15 9560? Thanks!
  6. Google says: A datacard is any removable computer component, approximately the size of a credit card, that contains data, or that contains nonvolatile memory to which datacan be written and from which data can be recovered. The term is a synonym for smart card.
  7. Lenovo Thinkpad series surely make good laptops with long lasting battery life and a powerful performance. If you can add a bit more to your budget, you can go for Razer Blade Stealth. And later in the future, you can purchase the Razer core (an overpriced external GPU) to boost your gaming performance.
  8. Sorry, read the post wrong. For $250, try getting Intel Pentium and maybe a second handed GPU (if possible).
  9. Make sure the capacity for each slot is equivalent too
  10. Lower the voltage= lower power consumption.
  11. Yes it works, but make sure its 1.5V or below.
  12. Oh I see. Since I'll be running the gtx 1060 on 1080p, which monitor do you recommend me? [ps. I'm not a really hardcore gamer]
  13. @steffeeh Which monitor do you use? And is it 24 inches?
  14. @EvilCat70 @GreenChris @Kickflapper Should I just get 1 monitor first and upgrade to 2 in the future, because I'd have to spend even more on the power supply...
  15. I see, is it possible to operate 2 operating systems simultaneously? One on Windows, one on Linux.
