  1. Thanks for the insight guys. I think I’ll go ahead with the upgrade. Here’s what’s in my cart at the moment:
  2. I'm looking to upgrade from an 3570K to an 8600k as I feel my setup is somewhat dated for games like Battlefield One. I recently acquired a 1070 and in many games, I feel my CPU usage is hindering my GPU performance. My current setup is as follows: i5 3570k @ 4.0ghz 8gb DDR3 RAM EVGA 1070 SC 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD Asus VS248H-P @ 1080p 60hz I've also considered upgrading my monitor from a 1080p @60hz to a Gsync 1440p @ 165hz display... To you guys, what would make the biggest difference in gaming. Upgrading the monitor or upgrading the CPU, Motherboard, and RAM. These both come in at relatively the same price. Thanks
  3. I've found what fixes my issue was setting CPU priority to High for BF1.exe when the game is running. Completely smoothed it out for me with an I5 3570k and GTX 970.
  4. I like the idea of having warrenty on the drives, drop off for dead drives, etc.. Similar to Dells pro support. The idea of old server and drives doesn't sit well with my manager. Thanks for the suggestion though.
  5. Looking for a storage solution that would fit our needs as a primary backup target using Veeam. We'd like to have around 40tb usable on the appliance to fit all of our backup needs. We'd probably use the dedupe and compression methods on the Veeam side for any space savings. We're currently looking at the Netapp E series box and received a quote of $15k Canadian for 40tb. Is there anything cheaper out there that would suite our needs? Nothing fancy, just need to dump our nightly veeam backups, restore once in awhile, and that's pretty much it. Thanks
