My computer is randomly shutting down during games or intensive workloads, followed by the fans hitting max, followed by it stopping and me having to force shut down via holding the power button. I don't think it's a thermal issue, I have a liquid cooler with a working pump and plenty of fans in the case. When I boot it up after a couple of times it will post and the resolution will be screwed, followed by a notification on desktop from Gputweak 2 that 'loadvender has failed, please load via driver'. I'm moving to a temporary accommodation for 6 weeks and can't bring my Enthoo Evolv TG with me but I still need to use my computer. Any tips for the setup? Re use the mobo box and place the motherboard on top of it? If this topic is in the wrong sub, could mods kindly shift it thanks.

Any specific areas/filters that could be filtering or not allowing me to access the network? I'm thinking about getting cellular but the price is ridiculous. 12 gb a month for around 60 dollars is a bit too steep for me.

They regulate internet from 5pm to 6am for 'mandatory study' time and 'your supposed to be sleeping not using your computer'. So I'm kinda screwed when trying to complete online courses on other programming languages that supplements my course. The standard for the ethernet is also in kb so it would be great to use it during off-peak hours when no one is using it.

Hey everyone, I've been living at a hostel that uses MAC filtering to enforce computer/wifi usage but I got around it by spoofing a MAC address. However, this time they brought in some technicians to upgrade the entire ethernet and wifi process. This time, changing MAC addresses doesn't work but I've found http://prnt.sc/dyqupl Maybe their flitering out all the address except the certain port and I need to add a proxy with that port? I'm no IP address/wifi expert so I could really use some help getting access to ethernet. Extra info is that its an aztech router. I can't really reset or add a password as hostel management will flip out lol Edit: Could help come in a form of a list, so that it'll be easier. Thanks

I'm trying to benchmark and overclock my Asus gtx 1080 strix with gpu tweak 2 and heaven for stress testing. However when I run it I get quite good fps but the monitor goes black sometimes and heaven eventually crashes. Is this linked to 'application heaven.exe has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware'? Will I need to give heaven special permissions? Off topic but what overclocks on the core and memory can I expect from the Gtx1080 strix?

NO DO NOT BUY THAT MONITOR I did and seriously regret it. Might make a post about it since I'm still raging but when in sleep mode the monitor goes into a flicker cycle of red green blue black and white The only way to stop this 'regularity according to dell' is to switch off the damn thing which befits the purpose of 'sleep mode'.

Update: Got amazon to RMA the monitor, however I will have to pay for shipping fees for a 3rd party shipper as it doesn't ship to my address
