I was told to get a big difference in performance for the sl drop I am experiencing I would need an Nvidia not and card cause of open gL what ever that is. So that's why I'm going Nvidia. I think I'll go 1660 super

i mean i like my series x for that eco system of games, and im slowly expanding into pc gaming, so i like that each has their own special purpose

Hi there so this is my current pc https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DTN9kX and when i play second life, ill average 45fps on high but then in other areas ill drop to 1.5fps, i was told by build a pc that its because im using an amd card and sl prefers nvidia ones? i also dont know whats comparable to my Acer predator rx580 4gb card as a upgrade, or if i should go for more cores or better ram, which may improve my prefomance, more to do first. well the rajintek looks like what i was hoping for, but it looks like they dont have one for my card, sadly my case has no fan mounting options so i cant do an nzxt style option.

So are replacement coolers for GPU's a thing? I have an Acer AMD rx 580 4gb, with a black predator branded blower cooler on it, and i was curious if i could get a better cooler for it?

Anyone know a work around I was on it in the past and when I click the link from google or off jakes signature on the forum I get brought to the invite I tap to accept it then I get to the welcome screen but it lists invalid channel and I don't have the channel on my sidebar?

So right now I can run wow at 1440p mid details with my 580 4gb but I get literally 1.5 fps in some areas of second life. I only use my pc for wow second life and chrome what gpu should I get with a budget of 500$ I don't need a super powered machine because this is all I do ideally i'ld like to be at 1440p ultra .
