  1. Is this safe? You say that I should plug in the 4 pin header the fan controller and then plug the CPU cooler in the fan controller? Wouldn't that make all the fans connected to the controller go at the same speed or the bios would recognize each fun plugged in the hub individually? I'm not that picky with my fan curves, with being able to set all my case fans to 50%~70% and having the CPU fan working normally I'm happy Why on earth low-end motherboards came with so few fan connectors? Smh
  2. Sadly I live in Argentina, there is an unbelievable lack of stock and variety, the prices are not good and shipping is really expensive, my only option is buying Aerocool fans, specially since a bought the argb hub. I guess I should buy a fan controller so I could buy more fans in the future, and plug the hub in the 3 pin connector, I won't have PMW but at least I would be able in theory to use more argb fans just to make use of the hub I already bought... What a nightmare....
  3. Hi, my motherboard only has two headers for fans, one with 4 pins for the cpu cooler, and one with 3 pins for the case fan. My case came with 2 fans (3 pins each), I bought a cpu cooler with ARGB (Aerocool Cyclon 4) and saw that it uses a 6 pin connector, so I bought the Aerocool ARGB controller, to my surprise, this hub only controls the rgb and its not for plugging more fans. My motherboard doesn't come with an rgb header so I know I won't have software support for my rgb, but I wanted to be able to use the other fan that came with my case. What are my options? I thought about buying a fan controller but they use PMW headers (4pin), will it work on a 3 pin header or should I unplug the cpu fan header and use it from the hub? This doesn't seem right... Should I just use a splitter in the 3 pin header? How would that work in terms of rpm with the 2 fans going off from just one header? Molex/Sata to 2 fan headers? They would going full speed always? Because if that's how it would work it would be pretty noisy I think, I want to be able to at least put them permanently to 60% or 70% Thanks.
  4. that means that it just dosnt get the signal of the wifi im trying to use or is it damaged?
  5. the distance of my smarphone and tv is the same distance from my pc to the modem, when i use the windows option to look for problems usually says that theres is a problem with the DNS adress, other times just says that there was a problem with the access point, router or modem. My main problem with the PCIe card is that it dosnt find the wifi that i use (while the old usb does find), i try using my smartphone as an access point to see if it gets good signal from the internet of my phone company and it dosnt work neither, so im starting to think that it might be a factory problem And when im using the pcie card another wifi appears, its called "NetworkProfile", but is the same wifi that i normally use but with other name For example, right now the icon un my toolbar says that everything is working perfect and with good signal, but i dont have conection, About the IP, when i use the PCIe wifi card the IP starts with 169, but when i use the usb the IP starts with 192. It says that im conected to internet in IPv4 but that i have no conection in IPv6 I dont know if there is a static IP configured, the drivers and utilities are really basic, they dont allow me to change much in the configuration, i did got a couple errors about wrong IP configuration (using pcie card), but they are random, sometime is that, and other times is just other things. Some of this problems could be solved if the modem was closer to my pc? You think that i should change it because it might be damaged? Thank you for your help, i really need to solve this problem
  6. Hi, i buy a TP-LINK TL-WN881ND since i was having internet problems with my old usb wifi card (D-LINK DWA-125) I was expecting an upgrade but that never happend, i cant use ethernet conecction because the modem is in my neighbors house, the wifi works great on my smart tv and smartphones, but in my pc is innestable, sometimes it disconnect for no reason, now i have both connected to my pc (usb and pcie cards), i unnable the pcie for the momment, this could be a problem with the configuration? or the one that i just got isnt working as it is supossed to do? When i use the pcie wifi card i get errors like "limited conection" or that it dosnt find the wifi that im trying to connect sorry for my bad english, if you need more information please ask me, i really want it to work
  7. Thanks a lot for all your answers. I dicided to not go for a AIO water cooling system, instead im going to use a cooler master hyper 212 evo is it good? i will change the PSU for a Sentey Metal Blade Power Bronce 80+ 750W just for the future (i hope to use 2 way SLI some day)
  8. 1. Budget & Location ~Budget; 33600 ARS (without monitor) ~Location; Argentina 2. Aim Gaming and Programing 3. Monitors I want to use 2 or 3 monitors in the future, for the moment i was thinking in getting a 22 LED LG 22MP55 IPS 4. Peripherals i have Windows 10 and im not looking to upgrade my periphericals for the moment 5. My Build CPU: INTEL CORE I5 6600K SKYLAKE S1151 (5500 ARS) CPU Cooler: WATER COOLER CAPTAIN 240 DEEP COOL (2900 ARS) Motherboard: GIGABYTE 1151 GA-Z170X- GAMING 5 DDR4 (4600 ARS) Graphics Card: GIGABYTE GTX 1070 SC 8GB DDR5 (11800 ARS) Memory: DDR4 16GB 3200MHZ CORSAIR VENGEANCE 2X8 LED (2800 ARS) Storage: SSD KINGSTON 240GB UV400 (2000 ARS) Storage: 500 gb (the one that im using now, im not looking to change it) Case: THERMALTAKE VERSA H35 OR THERMALTAKE CORE V31 (1900 ARS) Power Supply: EVGA 600W 80 PLUS (2100 ARS) My questions: - This pc would be able to keep up over the years? (at least 10 years) - The power suply will be enough? even if i do overclocking? - Is the ram that i pick for the build good? i just put that mostly for the Leds, i want 16 gb (2x8) - There is really need of putting water cooling in the build? I would like it to be silent, and if i do overclocking i dont wanna have high temperatures - Wich case should i pick? The versa or the core? why? - Theres is much difference between the motherboard Gaming 5 and Gaming 3? is it worth the gaming 5 over the gaming 3? Im going to buy all of this things here: http://venexcomputacion.com Is the only place in my city that have variety and low prices compared to the other stores. Thanks for your time
