  1. The video does say the HUE+ didn't do anything wrong. And he does explain he did it himself, what went wrong and deleted the video's falsely accusing NZXT. I like his video's and his honesty.
  2. it didn't do anything to his system. If you connect it properly you will have an even better looking system
  3. This is my latest. Today I installed LED lights (not really sure what to think of them) and white sleeved cables, which I could manage a little bit nicer. But I'm pretty pleased with the results.
  4. So, after less then an hour of building AND installing windows, everything works! *sort of* Window freeze was fixed by updating, but internet speeds are laughable. So slow! No downloading, no gaming, no Netflix for now. Some questions: Somehow, Windows found a pro license on my system, does anybody know what that means? I now have a fully licensed Pro version of Windows for free. My Sata power Cable isn't flat, so I can't mout my SSD on the bottom of my case. Am I doing something wrong?
  5. Quick update. So, tomorrow al my parts wil arrive. Already have the case with the motherboard installed could not wait! Also have a Samsung EVO 850 500GB installed. Still thinking about buying a CPU cooler, for esthetics . These are the parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/NN2hjc
  6. I was offered 900 for my 2012 MBPR if I bought another Macbook/Mac Pro in return.
  7. If you buy a new Mac, the value is even higher
  8. Like djdwosk97 says, the build quality and the feature are something you pay for. And for the brand, everybody loves Apple. So of you sell a Mac, you can always get some money for it, they are always in demand.
  9. I have a MBPR from mid 2012. The battery is due for a replacement. But it will probable be used for another 6 years. For work I have a MBA from 2011, which also has a battery issue. My old MB white from 2006 is used daily by my wife, updated with a SSD and a new battery. My 2003 MB is used by my son, who uses it to do basic (he's 7) school work. I still connect my G5, G4 and Mac mini from time to time, but they don't do anything on a daily basis. Mac's can be used for a long time! However the new Macbook are really expensive, especially when you also need to buy all sorts of adaptors to use any of the connectors and hardware I own. Plus I would really like to go for a 13 inch, but that only has a duo core and onboard graphics. So, now I have decided to build my first desktop pc. Which will cost me a lot less.
  10. Wow, thanks so much. I've been adding and removing stuff from a cart, so I can show the parts. Removed the 212 EVO, I really like the Cryorig H7 suggestion! But haven't added it. Changed the Corsair for Crucial Ballistix, 2400 Mhz. They cost the same, but are white. I couldn't even get a 2133 Mhz for cheaper, but will look further. Changed the NZXT Hale82 V2 - 550W for a Corsair RMx 650W (gold) 775 euro for now, under the 800!
  11. Hi guys, I was looking forward to buying a new Mac(book), as my current Macbook Pro Ret is getting a bit worn out. But after the release of the new MacBooks I really am disliking the way Apple is pricing and configuring it's laptop line. Not to mention the lack of any updates or introduction of a new desktops. So now after years of using Apple, I really want to try out using a (desktop) PC! Yeah, Windows 10, a bit of gaming yeah! I'm wondering if someone has some sound suggestions for this first time builder, long time Apple user. Kind off going for a BW build I guess (happened along the way). After a few weeks of research I have my shopping list down to the following: NZXT S340 - White Crucial MX300 - 275GB Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3P Intel Core i5-6500 - Boxed Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Corsair Vengeance LPX - DDR4-2666 - Black - 8GB NZXT Hale82 V2 - 550W Asus Radeon RX 480 - Dual OC - 4GB GDDR5 (white) I picked the case, because of it's size. Easy enough to build in. There are some HD's around here, so I'll be using those, or get a 1/2GB WD blue later. The motherboard is ATX so enough expansion options for the future, I guess. The Core i5 should give me enough computing power for some time. Cooler Master Hyper just looks awesome, but it isn't white Might get another Memory bank later. Is 550W enough for a build like this, what if I put in 6 more HD's? Videocards ... so hard to choose. Will this give my PS4 a run for it's money?
