  1. Hey guys. So got a rather unusual situation. On my old computer, one of the USB 2.0 ports had come loose in the socket, but it still worked. But one day when I unplugged my external hard drive from that socket, the loose port came with it, and I can't get it out. I've spent hours searching for help on this, but it looks like no one else has had this problem! So I was hoping someone here might have an idea. Here's a pic which will hopefully make it clearer. It's a 3.0 USB port, the black (top) is the loose port that shouldn't be in there.
  2. Giving it another bump. (Sorry if there's a limit on bumping. I couldn't find any rules on it).
  3. Hey, so I need to replace the I/O for my Cooler Master 912 Plus. This is the case: http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/haf-912-plus/ I've had a good search and actually found it on their website, but unfortunately it isn't available: http://www.cmstore.eu/spare-parts/haf-912-plus-i-o-panel/ I've also looked on New Egg and Amazon. So I was hoping get some ideas for good places to look, and if I can't find the exact one, what else is compatible with a 912 Plus case? Thanks! Also I live in the UK, so anything from the US is no good.
  4. Unfortunately I downloaded it so don't have a DVD. Sorry for stupid question but what do you mean by Windows 10 media? Would I need the install DVD for that?
  5. OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU: Core i7 3770 GPU: GTX 970 RAM: 8GB MOBO: Asus PSU Wattage: 750 So I got 2 Terabyte Solid State Hybrid Drive, and I wanted to copy my OS and all the contents from my old hard drive (a mechanical 1TB HDD) to it. I used Macrium Reflect for this. The first problem is, of course, being an exact clone my SSHD now has the exact same amount of space as my HDD. This isn't a huge problem because I can still create a new volume for the free space in Disk Management. The biggest problem is that I can't load up my OS from the SSHD. When I have both hard drives plugged in, the SSHD doesn't appear to even show up in the BIOS. When I unplug my HDD and try to start up, the SSHD does appear in the BIOS, but I get a "Reboot and Select proper Boot device" message. So I'm thinking, if possible, I'd like to reverse the cloning and try again. But I thought I'd stop and ask for help before doing anything else! Please get me out this!! And keep in mind it's an ASUS BIOS. Thanks.
  6. If you're looking for completely different to gaming and tech... Planet Dolan and Super Planet Dolan are fun channels that do Top 10 countdowns and animations. Rob Dyke and Mr Nightmare are fantastic horror themed channels that talk about allegedly real events.
  7. So I downloaded and ran DiskCheckup. The short test completed without any problems. The long test stops and 10% and in the status says: "The last self-test routine completed with a failure of the read element". That's bad news right?
  8. Yeah that seems the most logical choice to me. Sell the Titan Xs and get another 1080. If you stick with two Titan Xs or a single 1080 you'll have to upgrade sooner anyway. Whereas with two 1080s you'll be all set for a long time!
  9. Man, can't believe I forgot about verifying the cache integrity! I've done that for both games now. W:TW is working now. AOTS is still crashing, though. I guess I'll try those other steps when I have time and report back. Thanks a lot for all the info.
  10. Hey guys. So first of all thanks coming here and checking out my problem. So I've been unable to play two of my favourite games recently due to them crashing. This only started happening a few days ago, I was able to play them fine until then. I play both games in DirectX 12. All other games have had no problems. Warhammer: Total War crashes whenever I try to load a game a few seconds in to the loading screen, whether from the cloud or local drive, or manual or auto save. I'll just say it crashes in-game, a few seconds in, on any mode.
