Also I'm not sure why I didn't consider it before but the Phanteks p400s looks like the perfect upgrade. Smexy, fan controller, silence, RGB frontlight, tempered glass. muy. 

 

Now to measure and see if it'll fit on my desk...

    hm not sure why that attached I'm real bad at this I guess. 

     

    either way ignore the 34c min, afterburner starts up with windows.

    also not to mention the p400s has x2 2.5" SSD mounts, perfect for me, and 2x 3.5" drive cages, again perfect

    Anything is an upgrade from your case dude :P

     

    If you want decent airflow though you shouldn't get pretty much any Phanteks case bar the Enthoo Pro series. The NZXT S340 has minutely better airflow and the Define C is about the same but has that noise dampening foam you appear to want.
