  1. Thanks for the response, I was playing a game(PUBG) and saw horrendous performance issues and I figured out that it was the ram. That was when I noticed this. I guess that the problem is the amount of ram rather than the speed.
  2. EDIT: Solved. Apparently DDR transfers twice in one cycle and the effective frequency is double of the actual frequency (look at the replies below, I probably paraphrased wrong). My memory simply doesn't match the frequency that is set in the BIOS. I have it set to 1333mhz in the bios(default speed) and in CPUZ and Window's Task Manager it says that my frequency is set to 667-670(CPUZ fluctuates). I tried lowering the frequency of the memory in my BIOS, but the actual frequency moved with it (moved down to 800mhz, recieved 400mhz. Seems to be a 2:1 ratio). How do I fix this? System: FX-6300 GTX580ti 2 4gb of Corsair XMS3 Vengeance DDR3 970A-DS3P Gigabyte Motherboard
  3. I have a Galaxy S4 and it recently started to say, "Com.android.systemui has stopped" when I hold down the home key to get to the 'task manager'. I looked it up and the internet told me that something changed my system files(I didn't download anything that would affect the files). I have tried to factory reset my phone and even tried to re-download the stock rom off of the internet. When I used the stock rom it would work until I updated the google app. I have since uninstalled the updates to the google app. Any help would be great. Model- SGH-M919
  4. Thanks for the responses guys. I got online tech support and they solved my problem.
  5. Will Microsoft actually help me? Most companies won't listen to you half of the time.
  6. I switched my hard drive with my operating system (Windows 8) between systems and now when I try to enter the key in it comes up with the error above. I put the hard drive back into the old computer and deleted the key there, but I still get this error. I have also repeatedly uninstalled the key in the current computer, but I still have no luck. How do I make the computer register the key?
  7. I can turn the computer on right after it shuts down. Also when it shuts down it's immediate without warning. (One second I'm playing tf2 the next the computer is off) I ran Hwinfo's temp logging system and there were no temp spikes (records every 2 seconds) before it crashes.
  8. Switched the connectors. Still gives me the message and still crashes after about 2hrs
  9. My computer keeps randomly turning itself off after about 2 hrs of it being on(The temps are normal and rarely get within 15C of the max temps). When I boot I get a "CPU fan error." My CPU fan works fine and I have done all I can to try and fix it. AND YES I DID TRY TO SET THE FAN SPEED TO IGNORE. I want to know why my computer is crashing and if it can be fixed despite not being able to fix the fan error. Mobo: Asus p7q57-m do (Latest Bios) CPU: I3 560
  10. We used Hwinfo to see the temps after boot.
  11. I can't change any of my cpu fan settings, including setting the speed to ignore. Also I don't have AI suite.
  12. That still wouldn't explain why it crashes randomly.
  13. The fan spins fine and the computer keeps cool underload
