I believe it is important that during the times of outlining and appreciating the efforts of high rankings we reflect on why we are folding. We give thanks to those that made it possible and treasure each and every single person that pushed and folded against this invisible enemy.

Coronavirus has claimed over 100,000 lives across the globe, infecting over two million people. This is why we fold, this is the reason we have been brought together. Only in times of such hardship do we see the best and worst of mankind. People from all walks of life doing what they can to help, volunteering, folding, shopping and delivering for their communities, singing, cheering to our key workers. This is the embodiment of humanity, this is how our generation should be remember during this crisis. We are strong, united, resolute. We will not let ourselves be overcome by fear for as long as we have each other. So, go fourth caring with respect, with patience, with tolerance, with kindness in your heart, because it is surely needed in today's world.

    Before we get into the rankings there are a few things I want to mention;

    1. Although I have been the fact of this event I want everyone to take a moment to give thanks to @Metallus97 for his amazing contribution with the FAQ, tech support and help with the datasheet, @j1philli who has been a tremendous help with validating entries on the sheet and finally @leadeater who wrote the script we used for ensuring smooth data collection.

    2. I'd like everyone to head over and donate a few dollars to Jason at EOC, his servers must have taken a beating with all the traffic we have thrown at the guy over the last few weeks or so. You can either use this PayPal link or find the PayPal donation button on the EOC Website on the right. Don't forget to include a note so he knows it came from team LTT, mine said 'With love for LTT, thanks for everything you do.'

    3. I'd like to give a personal thanks to everyone who has been understanding of my own health during this event, it was hastily thrown together which lead to more issues than usually found!

    4. Finally I'd like to ask that you continue to fold, for the benefit of all of us, even if it is in a far more limited capacity moving forward.

It has been an exciting event, despite the darkness that looms over the world currently many of us, including myself have found a little lightness on the event thread, this doesn't have to end, we do have a Folding Community Board in which you can continue the conversation in all its glory! You can find that Here!

I want to give thanks to everyone who has been involved folding for TeamLTT over the last few weeks, no matter if you are folding only a few points a day or millions, no matter if you signed up to the event or not, your hard work and dedication is appreciated! Don't forget that if you talk about folding on twitter use the hastag #TeamLTT and I will be trying to keep an eye on it, so now, after you have read this post and feel the need to go troll PCMR a little, and lets be honest, after the pitiful attempt to challenge us, you will feel the need. We can all be a little more connected!

In first place, we have @Macaw2000 with an impressive 339,946,109 points warned with 5,613 Work units over the 14 days of the event. He utilised mercenaries well to make a final dash for the throne and now he sits comfortably, in the plush luxury smiling upon those that stand below him.

Second place we have the great oppressor, the disgraced king, @Den-Fi, who failed to take by his throne lost during the great crusades of Folding Month 2019. With 296,964,235 Points achieved with a surprising small 1,444 Work Units it has to be said that he certainly had one of the highest P/WU ratios in the event.

Third place we see is occupied by @walderston, who, given just a little more time could have snatched the silver spot from the fallen king. 237,268,117 Points taken with 1,261 Work Units is nothings to bite your thumb at for sure. But he will be left wondering if he can do better next event!

Fourth place is taken by the veteran @miker07 who has once again proved his worth with 196,425,757 points taken through 2,203 Work units. Forth place is nothing to be ashamed with but it will be interesting to see if he expands his forces by the time folding month comes around.

Fifth place finds @ZombieStew content with his first showing in a LTT Folding event, 145,684,152 Points and 2,079 Work units. He will certainly be looking forward to future events!

Sixth place we have another newcomer, @Unilevers, a fine showing that we hope to see again in the future.

Seventh place is @bafo_ah, another newbie shaking up the team with a good showing.

Eighth place is @wi3si, it will be excited to see if they can muster any more force for the future.

Ninth place can be claimed by @Ayren, who only folded for 13 days should be asking did that one day down cosy them too much?

Tenth place is where we leave this today, @GalaxyNetworks is the proud holder of 10th, the gatekeeper, but will they be bettering themselves next time out.

And here you can find the full set of data including the Prize allocations:- Full Folding Data and Ranks!

If you don't see your name on the list above you either did not sign up for this event or you did not meet the minimum requirements. This event was not eligible for Folding Event Badges, PLEASE DO NOT message me or the team about event badges. For general folding badges use the thread Here!

Now it is time for the prizes!

I was planning to tag each winner but due to the number of prizes and limitation I have recently been made aware of the winning ranks will be listed here and the winners will be tagged in comments to this post. This will ensure all winners get a notification for the tag.

The winners will have 7 working days from the publication of this post to claim the prize, if the prize goes unclaimed it will be added to the community pool for use in future events. In order to claim the Prize you will need to PM me here on the forum, with the subject

'Give me the key that I am owed!'

Also please can you include your rank to make it quicker and easier for me to get it all sorted!

    Events that are coming up!

    Top Jank of The Event!

I really just want to thank you all again for taking part in the event, you guys have really made it special, every single one of you!

with all that said it is finally time to wrap this one up, but please continue to fold and I am looking forward to seeing you guys take part in the BOINC Pentathlon, Summer folding sprint and most assuredly, Folding Month 2020!

    This is Spectrum signing off,

Metallus97 reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Five - Production Turning Point!
Today we see a turning point with WUs flowing much more consistently and points being thrown around like @Gorgons Canadian Dollars on Newegg!

PSA, Don't forget to check your slots are productive!

Today's drink is, Scotch from the bottle
As the production of the whole team continues to soar to new heights it will be interesting to see how much more we have left in the tank. Everyone is jumping in on this and we are really seeing some great results, so please, keep folding and dont forget to tell your friends about the glorious, Honorable... TEAMLTT!!! Let's push this team to new highs(No not that kinda high Canada), Lets really band together and paint the folding scene ORANGE!

The king @Den-Fi has rallied the troops to make sure he can rout any who dare to challenge him! With 90.34 million points he is starting to look unstoppable, @ZombieStew Is looking comfortable in second place with 48.43 million but with 4th place boosting production will he manage to stay there till the end! Third placve isnt looking all that secure, @miker07 is really going to have to pull a 2080ti rabbit out of his hat if he is wanting to hold onto that silver position. In fourth place @Xoggy is making waves! With a total of 33.0 millionpoints and a production of over 12m points in the last 24 hours he will be looking forward to take the 2 and 3 spot. In fifth place we have @Ayren with 28.3 million points!

Going to be a short post today as I want to make sure the main system is all good before I end up having issues with folding!

Ladles and gentlespoons, four days down, ten days to go, it seems like many people have been clambering to up their production, but how much of a difference is this likely to make, only time will tell!

Todays PSA is to remind you all to check your temps and dust out your system as required!

Today's drink is, Bulleit Bourbon and Pepsi max

The great team of LTT continues to steam ahead, blowing all previous records out of the water! It was once said that when the call to action came in the enthusiast community would be too selfish to mobilise in great numbers, well here we are! Standing tall, proud, unified! We have dedicated so many resources, so much time, and power. We throw ourselves into the task, babysitting our devices, reading up ways to maximise our production, supporting each other! Thank you to every single one of you who has joined the fight against COVID-19, and I hope to see you hang around the folding team after all this is over. All are welcome here at team LTT!

Look at this amazing Video from EOC that shows our climb up the ranks, and I believe it would be amazing to see this climb continue.

In first place the king @Den-Fi sits on his throne, holding onto the crown with an amazing 64.49 million points, he id really pulling ahead and now we find ourselves asking, can he be conquered. Second place is occupied by @ZombieStew, but with 37.85 million points I'm sure he has come to terms with the fact that he won't be sitting on any thrones by the end of this. @miker07 takes third place with 36.95 million points, he could seriously be looking to take the number two spot if he can only find himself a little more grunt to throw at the problem. With a wide gap opening up behind him he must be feeling pretty secure as @Xoggy comes in fourth with 25.4 million points, the X man doesn't have the power needed to advance further by the looks of it and there are a few further down the table that could be a challenge to him over the coming days. Fifth place is taken up by @n0xlf, it looks like they have had a tough day folding only bagging 3.4m points bringing his total up to 23.5 million, if he is wanting to keep that spot there needs to be more power thrown at the problem! @Fapasaurus is in 6th with 19.2m points, but with a production of 4.8m he could prove to be a challenger for the ahead of him if he plays the cards rights. Sitting 1.9m points behind him we find @BlackAda with 17.3m points. @Favebook finding himself in in 8th in such a large competition goes to show some of the pedigree we have here in the ranks, but, as he will know quite well, everything can change during the event. With 16.8m points he is in a precarious place, as not far behind we have @Unilevers who has already been promoted from the gatekeeper spot with 16.5m. The new man of the gate of the top 10 is @Ayren, with 15.9m it can be said that they are pulling theor weight to keep that place in the rankings for sure! 11th place we have @LAR_Systems who has fallen out of grace with the folding gods and has fallen down the stack, holding on with 15.6m it's all to place for to squeeze into the top 10! @Yabdat, another well seasoned folder is sitting in 12th place with a comfortable 15.5m, he will almost certainly be looking at these numbers closely to see if theres an advantage to be had. But, it will be important for him to cast his eyes to his rear as we have @HybridTI outpacing him and only a divide of 200k points separate the two folders. But the predator that is @Macaw2000 is firing on all cylinders, having both of them in their sights by outproducing then with a total of 15.2 million points so far! And in 15th place we have @catawalks, the walker of cats, the purveyor of felines, holding into the last of the top 15 spots with 15.1m points.

Looking down the stack we do have some more interesting guys popping up, like @BlueSpartan, who with a production of 2.5m points in the last day could truly be planning to make a splash. @cyberguy91, @abakus3k and @madarus are also ones to watch for sure in the coming days!

As you can see it all so very exited here. With the top spots being passed back and forth as people try their bast to force more production out of their machine, but, be cautious, because if you push it too far you may drop WUs and although this early in the game it may not be world-ending. I'm sure you'd end up with a little egg on your face regardless!

Metallus97 reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day One - In the beginning he said, let there be folds, and it was good.
And the first day of the event has officially taken off.

But first, a PSA, due to data corruption these stats run until 0300GMT, 28th of march, so the stats here reflect 27 hours of folding. As for the participation requirements, they will remain as is FOR NOW, but this is under review and after reviewing the first few days a decision will be made and announced on that days blog. Don't forget to follow this blog to keep up to date!

Well it can be said that today we are heroes, today we unite with all other folding teams to show the world just how much we are capable of. Pushing the Folding@Home network right to the brink of what it is capable of, breaking past the one exaflop barrier and becoming the fastest computing system in the world by a significant margin, and we are growing. Team LTT makes up almost 25% of the networks production, that, is truly a sight to behold. But I expect we have more to give, I expect team LTT will rise to the challenge like never before. Because that's just who we are!

This is just another PSA for the new guys here, the folding team is a small close knit community, so here's a few things I'd like you all to keep in mind. It doesn't hurt to say thank you, if someone has genuinely helped you out don't forget to drop a reaction on their posts, help others where ever you can and finally we are a team first and always.

It has been some time since I has to write a daily report, so bare with me, sit back and enjoy.

Be proud of what you are a part of on this day, be proud of the fact so many of us, from all teams have rallied when the the call to action came in, be proud that you are doing something that is for the benefit of all! Bask in the glory of the power of the whole Folding Network. This is not an event where it is us vs them, there is only US in these dark times.

In first place we have the king! @Den-Fi with 12.01 million points, he has set himself apart from the pack, the question is, can he manage to keep his throne this time around, In second place we have @ZombieStew training behind the king by 1.6 million points holding onto his position with 10.41 million points, one of the many new names to us here at the LTT folding team, he will be looking to leave his mark with his debut, but the question remains, can they keep pace with the king? In third place we have @miker07 a seasoned veteran of the team looking to show that even with all the new folders, he can shine as bright as ever!  He has a gap of 760 thousand points, taking third place with 8.7 million points. Fourth place is held onto by @Xoggy with 7.2 million points, a name I know well, he is making a splash with some serious production so far, but can he maintain steam. Fifth place is current occupied by @Fapasaurus, I hope his GPUs can move WU as fast as his hands can.. er.. you know, with 6.2 million points he's nothing if not production.

6th place is taken by @BlackAda, another new name who is seeming like a great addition to the team! with 5.6m points hes one to watch for sure, 7th place has @Macaw2000 with 4.9 million points, lots of new faces up top, its nice to see. 8th place is occupied by another veteran, @Favebook with 4.6m points, not far behind him with 4.5m points we have another seasoned named, @Yabdat. The already well known charitable crustacean @Zberg taking the number 10 spot with 4.1m points. He is the gate keeper of the top 10, but will he be W00P W00Ping his way to a nice finish or is he destined to end us being boiled alive, only time will tell!

11th place has another well known face, @catawalks, I'm not sure how a feline can operate a folding rig and I hope they keep they fans covered with some good dust filters with all that fur, but 3.9m points is nothing to hiss at! The question is, will the cat manage to be the hunter, or is @GOTSpectrum ready to pounce as he is only a stone-throws behind with 3.8m points. 13th is taken by @Unilevers, the question is can they hand out WUs like they do food products, with 3.7m points its all to play for here! In 14th place we find @ykdave and 'you know dave' with just 100 points behind you could very well well show unilevers just what it takes to cut the mustard. @HybridTI is also eyeing up advancing up the ranks being only 10k behind dave.

During this update the top 10 make up 5.7% of the total, the top 50 can claim 14.3% and the top 100 can be proud with their just over 20% stake.

We have lunged ourselves over the precipice, many of us find ourselves stripped of liberties for the safety of the most vulnerable in society. These measures are alien to most of us, a pandemic of which the likes has not been seen for a century. But even now, we have millions of doctors tending to the unwell, thousands of working to find a solution, a treatment, a vaccine.

Together we are all working towards that goal, whether that by directly assisting the research, abiding by the limitations placed on us by the state or by dedicating our massive pool of computing resources to the cause. We will defeat this, we will emerge from the other side. I hope that after this is all over many of us will remember the sheer amount of work Folding at Home has put in, and i hope, that you will stick around, folding, doing your own small part in the never ending march of scientific progress. Because only together and united can we dream of a better tomorrow.

I am so proud of every single of of us, from people running a old laptop with an ATOM processor to the more eccentric of us, who dedicate massive numbers of devices folding 24/7. We are not in competition, we are a team. You may feel like folding on your lower power hardware is not as worthwhile as someone folding on 4 2080TIs, but it takes the cumulative force of us all to advance this march of progress. So please, sit back, listen to the pur(or scream) of your rigs and smile to yourself. Remind yourself that this is not wasted power nor wasted money. Bask in the knowledge that together we are making a difference, not only to COVID-19 research but to a plethora of areas. We may not see the benefit of much of this research for quite some time.

We have verified around 90% of these, I'm hoping to post a list of invalid forum names and folding names in the next 24 hours so people have time to let me know what needs to be changed.

This list is valid as of 1315 GMT, if you have signed up after this time you won't be on the list but you will be on the sheet. Please wait for the next list update and refrain from messaging me inquiring on the status of your sign up.

This is a very quick update just to let you all know where we are at.

There is no updated participant list as of yet.

Due to the rapid development of the situation in Britain of COVID-19 my household has taken the hard and complicated decision to isolate ourselves as much as possible. We are expecting this to last a minimum of 6 weeks, but it could very well be significantly longer.

All people who live here have some form of medical issue that puts us in a very hard situation. This means that over the next 24-48 hours I will be quite busy handling friends and family, medication supplies, shopping and contacting the local council to inform them of our decision and having some form of care plan put in place.

I hope that you can all understand that this task must take precedence over all else.

The starting date and time for the event will be remaining as originally planned to ensure I have the time needed to have everything in place for this.

I will be available on the event thread and also via DM when needed where possible.

In the meantime if you desperately need assistance @Metallus97 will be around to answer general questions about folding at home. @leadeater has access to the datasheet and can help to confirm entries and make correction.

Thank you all for your respect and understanding at this challenging time, please, keep yourself safe.

Well the Corona virus has been the centre of many of our minds and our headlines. I'm not going to make this long, I believe we have all heard far too much about that damned virus in recent times.

We today push forward with dedicating our technical resources towards the greater good, whether that be for COVID or for any number of other projects that Folding at Home supports.

I am excited and proud to announce that we have now surpassed 1900 sign ups, it is truly an unprecedented time for Folding at Home, and if I could I would welcome and thank every single one of you.

But the truth is, this is a dark time, where many of us are filled with fear. But, we will not relent, we will not rest, we will not give in. This virus has brought the worst out of us, but also some of the best. There have been such an outpouring of community support around the world and that is truly beautiful to see.

Please find below the updated list of participants with notes on any issues, if you have a note next to your name please message me! Valid as of 2230 GMT.

Well guys, another major folding event has rolled around much sooner than we anticipated and with it has come yet more advances in our back-end system. We are hoping these improvements will make for a better experience and reduce the likely hood of errors in the data. The majority of the work has now been completed and we will be testing it over the next 48-72 hours to ensure we are all systems go for the event!

This is an event unlike any other, we are not folding for glory, for competition, for fame, but instead we join our brothers and sisters combating the epidemic of COVID-19. We are a competitive bunch I will admit that, but remember the main reason we have all come together. This is far beyond anything we have seen before, more people than ever have signed up for folding. More system and more compute power has been poured into folding than ever in the history of the project. We are not THE team, but simply A team in the crowd. Because now, we fold not just for Team LTT, but for humanity, more so now than ever before.

The current health crisis is scary, scary in its size and proliferation, scary in its effect on the world, scary in the fact that it has been over 100 years since we last had an infection on this scale. But never before in history been we better equipped to deal with such a crisis. Never before in history has there been a way that 'normal' people like you and me have been able to directly aid in the response. Never before in history have we had such a deep connection with each other as we now do as technology brings the people of the world closer together.

All I ask of you is to fold!

Fold for your grandparents, your parents, yourselves, your friends. Because for the first time in history we have the tools and system in place that we can assist with research that is far outside of most of ours understanding. This is a dark time, but through folding we shall shine a light into the darkness. We shall beam hope into the shadows!

I would just like to thank every single one of you for getting involved, no matter if you are folding on some decrepit system from a by gone era or on the greatest and latest. Because, now, we forge ahead, with the knowledge in our hearts that we are doing what is needed for the greater good. As whole countries are on lock down, and millions of people are in isolation, we stand together with all other folding teams new and old to combat this threat to the most vulnerable in our world.

A big thank you to @leadeater for smashing through the needed work to make sure we have the tools that we need to run the event smoothly.

    Well guys,

It seems that due to an error on my part with the datasheet we have managed to omit all who hit the minimum requirements who had less than 1 million points. So, here are the list of the guys who hit the requirements but were omitted due to a simple error in the IF statement. In order to make sure that you guys haven't missed out on any giveaways we are planning to use any unclaimed prizes to be raffled to you guys. I hope this makes things right, as always we will endeavour to ensure this is not repeated for future events.

The event badges have already been handed out to you guys, I will also be added you to the original award ceremony too to ensure you get the recognition required.

    Happy Folding,

Metallus97 reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Award Ceremony 2019!
Well guys, my oh my has it been a month of pure excitement and an unexpected plot twist, the king has been dethroned!!!

But before we get into it I just want to say a few things, first and foremost, I want to thank the guys who have been helping behind the scenes, @Gorgon for his exceptional data handling and filling in for blog posts, @palespartan for being my rival giving a helping hand with data validation, prize allocation and a blog post or two and @Imbellis for validation and giving us a secondary source of point data. You guys really have been lifesavers this event and without you I honestly don't think the event would have ran at all as I would have needed to throw in the towel with all the hospital trips.

I want to thank every one of who participated, no matter if you made 3 points(yes, somehow that was a thing, I even validated it myself) or if you made over 800m *cough* @Yggdrasil128 *cough*, you really are all beautiful, amazing people. I also want to give a special thanks to you all for standing by me despite all the hospital trips and unavailability, I really appreciated all the warm messages I received wishing my partner good health, it will surly be needed over the coming months and possibly years.

Competition was stiff this year, with not only the highest number of sign ups for any folding event here on the forum but also some of the most impressive folding I've ever seen, period. You guys have rocked it hard and you should all be proud for what we accomplished. 17,933,433,473 points over the course of the event and moving from 10th place to 8th, but the science is not over and the folding must continue.

Roughly, if team LTT was measured on the top500 list of supercomputers we would have found ourselves somewhere around 70-75th, just think about that for a moment...

Please can all make sure we donate a few dollars to Jason over at EOC, his servers must have taken a beating with all the traffic we have thrown at the guy over the last month or so. You can either use this PayPal link or find the PayPal donation button on the EOC Website on the right. Don't forget to include a note thanking him so he knows its from team LTT.

It is a sad time when we see the demise of our hardware, even sadder when that hardware holding out a few more days or weeks would have secured up a better position.

And now, without further delay, here are the final, verified ranks and prize winners.

In first place we have @Yggdrasil128, with 886,386,763 points over the course of the event. Mr. Drasil, now crowned the new king of folding for team LTT, really surprised us all, laying low for much of the event before making a dash to the top with his mercenary armies rented folding power, we don't mind how you get your points as long as you get them under your name. You truly deserve to sit in this spot, your prize os to have the bragging rights for the next 11 months, All Hail The King of Folding, 2019!

In second place we have the dethroned kind, @Den-Fi with 660,756,810, you really pushed hard towards the end of the month, but with some sandbagging at the start it has to be asked if you could have taken the crown, that is something we will never know. But, hear this, there is no shame here, for we are all winners when it comes to folding, as we fold, FOR SCIENCE!

In third place we have @Gorgon with 520,575,343 an impressive number, our very own Gorgon showing that we are all in it full tilt, even if we are consumed by crashing google sheets and failing giant IF statements. He was up there right from the start and really took the fight to the dethroned king, a real man of the people.

In 4th place we have @miker07 with 438,025,030, a fine effort from the folding month veteran.

in 5th place we have @catawalks with 415,533,572, if only he pushed that little more he could have taken 4th.

    6. @_Rlocke with 221,628,810.

    7. @JB25304 with 212,774,860.

    8. @leadeater with 202,564,470.

    9. @Favebook with 191,299,492.

    10. @GOTSpectrum with 186,742,539.

If you don't see your name on the list above you either did not sign up for this event or you did not meet the minimum requirements. All event badges will be handed out without any intervention needed from you guys, PLEASE DO NOT message me or the team about event badges.

Now it is time for the prizes!

I was planning to tag each winner but due to the number of prizes and limitation I have recently been made aware of the winning ranks will be listed here and the winners will be tagged in comments to this post. This will ensure all winners get a notification for the tag.

The winners will have 7 working days from the publication of this post to claim the prize, if the prize goes unclaimed it will be raffled again. In order to claim the Prize you will need to PM me here on the forum, with the subject

'I am here to claim what is rightfully mine!'

EDIT: In all the excitement, I forgot to add my two little announcements...

The first is, the billion point badge is now here!

1 billion points, Diamond Badge - 'When you have contributed more than 1 Billion points, Tales of your folding adventures will be whispered through the ages, You are now mythical.'

The second is that, It has been decided that new leadership for the folding team could reinvigorate the team, well I can tell you that I have accepted to take over the leadership role from @Whiskers!

Well guys, it looks like the team is clawing back some lost production as we are seeing a slight bump today, that half billion day is still elusive to us though, but it will happen.

In first place we see @Gorgon hanging on by the skin of his teeth with 164.66 million points, he looks like the king is poised to strike and take his lead over the next day or so, it will be interesting to see if he has anything to respond with or if he will need to concede to @Den-Fi who has ramped up production and has 164.35 million points to his name. In third place we see @miker07 with 139.84 million points, he must be finding himself looking at the rear-view mirror and wondering what, if anything he can do as there are a couple of people behind him looking to leapfrog his position. Forth place is taken by the challenger @Yggdrasil128 who is looking at the top dog, the king himself with envy in his eyes as he races towards dominance, currently holding onto 124.9 million points, he has some liming to go, but he does have the highest production of any participant for the time being. @catawalks takes fifth place with 96.9 million points, giving him a lead of over 15 million, placing him comfortably ahead of @_Rlocke  in sixth with 82.3 million points. 7th place is taken by @GOTSpectrum who continues to plod along consistently with 50 million points to his name, @DUW1G1T seems to be fairly consistent too with his 48.9 million points giving him a small but adequate lead over @Lucky7 in 9th place with 45.9 million points. @palespartan has been knocked out of 10th place and down to 12th as @Cbwgoose sits as the gate-keeper of the top 10 with 39.1 million points.

The top 10 has pumped out 24.48% of the events total for today, with the top 50 bringing home 50.64% and the top 100 claiming 65.44%.

    as always:

Please remember that this is a friendly event, but we are all folding away for Science, AND GLORY!

I'm really impressed with the numbers we are seeing here, Thank you to all who are involved and who make this worth while every year.

Well guys, we have hit the double digits, and it seems the pressure is starting to hit our participants. The download bug is back and we can see some users folding under the heat.

In first place we see @Gorgon holding on with 148.83 million points, many have asked hows hes managed to stay up with the king breathing down his neck, the answer is sandbagging unforeseen circumstances on the part of @Den-Fi who is in second with 146.98 million points, Its hard to gauge if he really is struggling, or just underachieving, either way, we are keeping a close eye on the king. In third place we have @miker07 with 128.73 million points, he continues to push hard, and the results show for themselves. Fourth place is taken by @Yggdrasil128 who is still showing that he has the stamina to challenge the top boys, if he can keep this up I'm sure we will see the top dog push harder. With 104.9 million he has some distance to cover, but I'm sure he will make it, WE BELIEVE IN YOU! Fifth place is held by @catawalks with 84.3 million points, respectable to say the least, @_Rlocke is keeping pace too with 74 milillion points, hes quite comfortable  as 7th place is held by @GOTSpectrum with 45 million points, @DUW1G1T continues to keep pace with 7th, holding onto the number 8 sopt with 44m points. @Lucky7 doesnt need any luck to keep his spot at 9th with 41.7m as @palespartan has the number 10 spot with 33.6 million.

Well guys, here we are, the first day of the second week and my oh my have we been busy bees, that 500m day is still elusive but we are creepy ever closer.

In first place we have @Gorgon with a massive 116.56 million points, he really has expanded his fleet since last folding month and finds himself in first, but that lead is slipping away as @Den-Fi is hot on his tail with 115.66 million, and seeing as the advancing royalists are outpacing the the rebel leader it's only a matter of time. Taking third place we have @miker07 who continues to play with the big boys holding onto the number three spot with 103.63 million points, in fourth we can see the teams biggest producer @Yggdrasil128 flying up the ranks at warp speed currently holding onto a ticket with 66.13 million points, fifth place is take by @catawalks with 64.2 million points, The cat man is slowing that he can do more than simply scratch a post. 6th place is taken by @_Rlocke with 57.8 million points, hes built himself up a mighty lead over @GOTSpectrum in 7th who has 36.1 million points to his name, 8th place we see @DUW1G1T continuing to push hard with 35.8 million points, hes so close to 7th he can taste the rainbow Mr spec is leaving behind. In 9th place we have @Lucky7 with 33 million points and he isnt feeling overly threatened by @palespartan in 10th who has 26.7 million points.

The top 10 brought home 24.44% of the points for this update, the top 50 ranks can claim 48.46% while the top 100 has 63.23% this update.

Metallus97 reacted to GOTSpectrum for a blog entry, Day Two - So Early, So Impressive
In these early days we start to see the initial ranks coming out, much can, and will change over the next 33 days, but for now we can get a small idea of generally where many of us will find ourselves, will we be comfortably finding ourselves fighting for a respectable top 100, maybe even top 10, or are we in for the misery of finding ourselves fighting to stay afloat in the middle. These numbers are interesting if nothing else and may be an indicator of what is to come, but one is is sure, that nothing is sure right now. So... lets get on with it.

We see @miker07 topping the chart with an impressive 25.54 million points so far, he is looking like the man to beat, the one who may finally dethrone the king, in second we have our very own @Gorgon with a still very impressive 24.77 million points, he will be looking forward with wonder, can he tune his rigs and close the gap. Third place we have The King, @Den-Fi he seems to have hit a hurdle already with 21.96 million points to show for all his effort over the last couple days, but he will be looking forward, he will be questioning, how do I take back my throne. In forth place we find @catawalks, a new comer to folding month who seems to be wanting to make his name known by taking the number 4 spot with 14.09 million points. In fifth we have @_Rlocke a veteran of the month of folding and a well known heavy hitter, I'm sure he will have more in the tank to come having produced 9.71 million over the last couple days. 6th place sees @DUW1G1T whos been pushed out of the top 5 by mr Locke, with 9.07 million points he cant really feel very comfortable as 7th place is @GOTSpectrum who is only 8k points behind that mark. We see a fair gap open of about 2.5 million points  before 8th can be seen and who is it, its yet another new name @Lucky7. He must be really thanking lady luck for the comfortable position he seems to be in with another million points behind him we have @palespartan with 6.5 million points, as one of the events core team and the reason for this event even existing he must be asking himself why he cant do more.To round out the top 10 we have @Yabdat, another familiar name for us who took part in last years folding month, the gate keep finds himself with 6.2 million points.

The top 10 have produced 20.75% of all points produced by folding month participants over the last 24 hours.

The top 50 make up 45.06% while the top 100 made 63% of todays total.

as always anyone who hasnt produced any points so far this month wont show up on the table below.

We have seen some movement over the last 24 hours or so and its been quite exciting, today we folding over 85 percent of LTTs total production! Also guys due to the sheer number of inactive names on out database, if you haven't registered your folding name with Stanford by the time the application form closes(November 6th, 23:00GMT) then you will be removed from the database and will no longer be able to participate.

And, the standings so far are as follows, The King is managed to hold onto his throne today with 17.3million, but looking a little further down the table Tomerrs has come out of no where to take the number two slot, it seems hes gunning to knock the king over and take his place, he may only have 10million points but over the last 24 hour he produced 7.6million. Then we have Ben Quigley with 9.4million at in third, there is definitely Some threads below him ready to strike. Dissitesuxba11s has managed to hold onto 4th despite all the movement around them. Followed by Porina with 3.1million, theres only 100k separating the two at the moment. Jakkuh is in 6th with 8million and it looks almost certain he will be pushing his way up the board just a little more. Gorgon and Palespartan have been knocked down to 7th and 8th, with 7.2 and 7million points there's only a little ground between them. After the number 8 spot there's some real lagging behind happening, Cereal is holding 9th with only 4.6million points, but TVwazhere isn't all that far out with 4.4milion of his own.
After the top 10 another opening can he seen, 11th only has 3.8million putting the distance at 800k points. 12th and 13th are right up there too, with only 200k separating the three positions. Stijnman is at 3.5million, RollinLower is at 15th with 3.3million. RAS_3885 in 16th with 3.2million, Willhemmings follwing up with 3.16, number 18 and 19 is  Powelljl and millerpanda with 3million each. Then we have OpenCircuit74 in 20th holding on with only 2.7million points.

There are some real threats to @King Poet on the table, and it will be interesting to see if he even has any more gas in the tank to push harder, Then we have @Tomerrs who blew away the competition and produced an incredible 7.6million points in the last 24 hours. @Ben Quigley has manged to hold onto third, but it seems this will be short lived looking at the table around him. In a surprise twist we have seen @porina drop in the rankings, and in sixth we have Jakkuh. Palespartan has yet again gained some ground in respect to Gorgon, But a little birdie tells me Gorgon has an ace up his sleeve. @James has dropped out of the top 20, and you have to ask, why is it Jakkuh was allowed to just come in and steal his light...

If your numbers seem off, or you cant find yourself on the list then please do get in contact with me and I will double check on your data, we currently have 310 sign-ups but only 186 have produced any points so far for the event.

Please remember we have minimum participation requirements, these are 100k points, 15WUs, and 15 days of having activity over the course of the whole month.

Once again, if you don't have a valid folding name with Stanford by the time entries close your records will be deleted in our database.

Thanks for participating in the event!

    Happy folding,

On the first day of the event we have seen four people take more than half of all the points for the event members. We have, rather expectly, King Poet in first place with just shy of 5 million points, with a sizeable gap to myself with 2.3 million.. Porina and Gorgon coming up in the next group both just a little over 1.8 million. Dissit and Palespartan are both hovering around the 1.5 million point mark for today. Givintvt, TVwazhere and stilnman are coming in at the 1 million point park. RollinLower seems to not have made his mind up in he wants to move further up into the top 10 sitting at a comfortable 950k. And that concludes top 10 watch! Thank you all for participating and thanks for reading, the shear number of you guys involved has really astounded me, to the point where I’ve completely had the change the way we track and comment on your results. But the real question is, who can take the heat? Can @King Poet keep on screaming ahead without dropping the protein. Can @Ben Quigley hold onto number two or will @porina come and smoke him out. @Gorgon is right up there and is poised to try to push into the top three but does he has the steam, er, silicon for such a maneuver. @palespartan is so close to getting into the top 5 if only he could push his rigs that little bit harder. But, there's only one way to find out, and that's to read on tomorrow!  Also guys, don’t forget we are keeping a close eye on Mr Laz0r @Jamesas he is the only LMG staff to join I guess we should give him so special attention, at 670K he hasn’t impressed so far. But he has the chance to really make a splash if he can thing on his feet and convince Linus to help him out, we will see how it goes over the month!

    Ben.
