  1. Hi guys Im going to be building a computer around Christmas time and I am deciding on a monitor. I've narrowed it down to the PG348Q by Asus or the X34P by Acer. Im going to be playing games like Forza Horizon 3 & 4, Motorsport 7, CSGO, and browsing the internet. Which one should I get and why? Where I live the X34P ($1499AUD) is $200AUD more than the PG348Q ($1299AUD) and the Alienware AW3418DW is out of the ring because it costs over $2000 and doesn't have FRC. Im looking for great image quality and contrast (for playing Horizon 4) and I have heard that the new panels that is in the X34P has worse contrast and colours vs the old ones that are found in the PG348Q and the original X34. Im also looking for good warranty which Asus does (apparently Acer's warranty is sh!t and 3-5 dead/stuck pixels is a cosmetic thing and they won't do anything about it.) Is the colour and contrast difference noticeable? Would it be worth $200AUD more for 20Hz? Thanks
  2. Hi guys. I'm in the market for a new monitor for 1080p YouTube and gaming. The monitors I'm looking at are both Samsung: - C24F390 24" curved 1080p 16:9 VA - 25UM58-P 25" 1080p 21:9 IPS I have an i5-7200u with 8gb ddr4 and a GT 940MX with 2gb gddr5. Although I am buying a second hand pc or building one with a decent i5 and a 1050 or 1050ti. Thank you and have a great day/night - Eden
  3. Perfect. Trial and error is your friend. I hope you find the config that's best for you. Have a great day/night - Eden
  4. If it's a good brand psu, the fan should automatically spin up. The air inside the case won't be the same temp as the cpu or gpu. The gpu doesn't really give heat through air to the heat sink of the cpu. What brand psu?
  5. I would turn the psu over so the fan is facing the inside. The bottom fan blowing into the case. The front 2, top 1 into the case aswell then the back 1 blowing out. Cpu fan blowing on to the gpu. More airflow the better.
  6. Just a recommendation, Its better to have more intake than exhaust.
  7. Im nowhere near an artist but whats the game about?
  8. Hi guys Im in the market for a new monitor. Right now I am on a 15.6" 1080p laptop monitor and I want to upgrade. Im thinking of getting the LG 25UM58-P which is 25" 21:9 1080p or the Acer G257HL 25" 1080p 16:9 Which one would you prefer and why? Is an ultrawide worth it for mostly youtube watching, a little casual gaming in fortnite, cs:go, cities skylines? both are 60Hz but the LG can be put up to 75Hz easily and the lg also has the OSD compatible with your mouse. LG is $218AUD Acer is $179 Thanks and have a great day
  9. Thanks for the recommendation but the used speaker market in my area isn't that good and is quite expensive Not one for treble but EQ'ing fixed it. The "Noaudiophile dsp fix", what is that? I also decided to get them and they're awesome for music. I love them. They are perfect for rap music.
  10. Yeah the Z623's only use the 3.5mm port which is 2.0 I'm pretty sure. But would it be possible to have front left and frony right as well as normal left and right with these speakers instead of having 2 of each front? What software would I need? And can I do this with a 3.5mm splitter?
  11. Hello everyone I'm able to get two Z623's for cheap (Brand new) and I was wondering if it is possible to set them up in a 4.2 surround sound set up. Is it possible and if so, how do you do it? Thank you and have a great day.
  12. Well to see if the liquid is flowing. If you are worried about it stopping, then get one If you are using a trusted, well known pump, you shouldn't worry
  13. My budget is $125AU. Its not that much and that's how much z623's cost over here Edit: I'm also going to be using these speakers for as long as possible and upgrading really isn't an option.
  14. My old speakers were the Creative T3150 but it didn't have bluetooth (I don't know the model number but the difference between the one i had and the T3150 is the T3150 has bluetooth). These speakers were powerful enough but i want more bass.
