  1. Google said asus 4060 OC is around 22.7CM, add +1/2CM for wiggle room and air. So around 25 CM. SInce you have the case there you can measure it or check the Case Manufacture website to see the GPU space size.
  2. You could check which one hit 100% first on the game you play The GPU or CPU. Like if the GPU hit 100% first then Replace the GPU. If the CPU hit 100% first than upgrade the CPU. if both of them doesn't reach 100% then we might have a cooling or system problem! Test it first so we could have a proper analysis based on data not speculation
  3. Hey Guys! I got a video Idea to test "WHICH OS COULD HANDLE THE MOST CHROME TABS ON 8GB RAM?" The OS in Question is Windows, Mac, and Chromebook! I recently switched to Chromebook and discovered they don't use the typical RAM swap to Disk, But a Zram system, where they compressed the RAM into the RAM! Which make my mind blown! like how the system handle it and how's the latency? So yeah maybe is more like an informative and comparison between RAM SWAP system with ZRAM system. It's Interesting! and myabe that's why apple think that 8GB is still enough? hahaha
  4. Thanks for the reply, Guys! After hearing a lot of good responses. I think I will grab the Alienware 15 R3. Hope no one grabs it before me!! Thanks for the information! I will post soon after I got the unit.
  5. Hello guys! Previously, I planned to buy a PC Tower for my college uses. I'm an Architecture student and I'm planning to use it mainly for Archicad, Autocad, Cinema4D Rendering, and Sketchup. But suddenly my 2011 MacBook Pro start failing on me, the wifi Won't work, The DVD player wouldn't Eject, and now it starts to shut down randomly without no reason. So I changed my plan from buying a PC to a Laptop. Because I need the portability of a laptop, I need a laptop that i can bring to my class, I can ring it to my friend place for Project collaboration, and other. Currently, I'm Considering a Second Hand Alienware 15 R3 with 7700HQ with Nvidia 1070 for 24.000.000,00 IDR (I'm located In Indonesia)/ 2299,00 CAD. Remember, here in Indonesia computer prices are very high a base list Alienware 15R with 1060 can cost 35.000.000,00 IDR. or my backup plan, if the unit isn't available anymore, is to buy an ASUS ROG GL502VM with 1060 for the same price. My Current problem or confusion is the laptop still worth it? or should I wait for Coffee-Lake? My Program mainly uses processors, So processor performance is a very big consideration value. I haven't heard any leak/information for Coffee lake performance laptop processor, but looking at the desktop side there should be a performance bump for Coffee-lake. So should I take the Alienware 15 R3 with 7700HQ and 1070? or wait for Coffee-lake Performance Laptop? Thanks! Best Regards, Adhie
  6. I'm still thinking about it, i usually use my ipad for second overview screen when using Photoshop on my macbook and i like to use multiple window and because i'm hipnotized by linus ultrawide setup. That's my initial reason to use ultrawide, but now after looking at size comparison, i'm starting to question my reason. So hmmm.... What do you think? P.s i'm going to sleep soon P.s my second screen option is an asus screeb
  7. i'm planning to use one LG-25UM57(2560x1080,HDMI, IPS) for IDR 2.720.000
  8. Hello , I'm an Architect Student. I'm located in Indonesia. I'm planning to build a new PC. it will be used mainly for CAD, ARCHICAD, SKETCHUP, V-RAY, PHOTOSHOP, and RENDER (maybe game a bit). But in the future, i'm planning to learn and use REVIT, BLENDER, 3DMAX, Other. My budget for the PC only is 1700 USD/IDR 2.000.000,00 and this build is only about the PC tower, But if anyone can recommend a good Display that have a great color accuracy with budget in mind, please let me know! This is My build proposal, Please tell me if there are any problem, any overkill, any recommendation and other. My Initial plan is that I'm using this pc to render image using V-ray for Sketchup. So I thought to prioritize for CPU first, then GPU. because i heard V-ray for Sketchup doesn't utilize GPU that much. But i'm planning to upgrade the gpu later, if i Able to use the Vray for 3DMAX, and other software mention above. Thank you and have a nice day!
