In Windows, Balanced power setting will throttle the CPU up and down depending on usage in order to save power. On high performance, the CPU is showing running at full speed. (4.4Ghz on my 4770k). I'm wondering if and how this effects turbo boost? On high performance, are all 4 cores really running at 4.4ghz? Does balanced interfere with turbo boost? Thanks

Actually just figured it out. It was a setting in AI Suite that was causing it. Thanks for your suggestions though!

I'm running Windows 8.1 and whenever the computer is locked and idle for a few minutes, all of the chassis fans will stop working. The CPU and CPU_OPT still continue to function. How can I make sure the chassis fans don't stop spinning? Thanks

Noob watercooling question: What is the advantage of using 2 rads instead of 1? And also, does cooling more components require a bigger res? I.E would I need to get a bigger res if I was water cooling 2 GPU's instead of 1?

I just recently upgraded from an H100i to the H220 but one thing I cannot stand is the sound from the pump. At full speed its unbearably loud but even at 40% rpm I can still hear the pump. Is this normal? I currently have a Fractal Arc Midi R2 but will be moving to an NZXT H440. Will the noise dampening be enough to block out the pump noise or should I simply ditch the H220 and go back the the H100i or perhaps get an H110?

The motherboard itself has no processing power of any sorts.
