  1. I just tried out two different RAM sticks from a friend, Crucial Ballistix' at 3200 MHz and they're working just fine, guess I'll have to send back my RAM and order different RAM.
  2. Anyone got a clue? Sorry for the bump but I'm really out of ideas here, havent found anything while trying to google the issue.
  3. The RAM is in slots 2 and 4, bios is V3.5, the newest I could find, Radeon Software is on the newest Patch. I know it sounds more like a GPU issue but I tried a lot of things between reinstalling Graphics Drivers, Windows even, trying out my old Graphics card, the only consistent fix has been turning off XMP. @Praesi The Memtest was done on the new RAM. P.S.: I just tried again and it made the entire System restart when having XMP enabled, first I had a bit fo the Blackscreen issues when starting up and ingame it intensified and led to the crash.
  4. Hello there, I've upgraded my System about 2 weeks ago from an MSI B150M Bazooka with an i5 6500 and Sapphire Nitro+ Rx480 4GB to: Windows 10 Home 64 bit MSI B450 Tomahawk Max (BIOS version 3.5, latest) -new Ryzen 5 3600 (stock) -new 2x8GB G.Skill SniperX RAM (3600MHz XMP) -new MSI RX5700 XT Gaming X 8GB (stock) -new Sabrent 1TB M.2 boot drive -old 2x256GB SSD, 3TB, 4TB HDD storage drive -old EVGA SuperNOVA 650GQ Modular (650W 80+ gold) -old Now I've noticed that in the process of using my old RAM first and then my new RAM, that XMP was enabled, but wasn't boosting past 2133MHz, probably cause the old RAM was 2133. Therefore I turned it off and on again, but that made my system unstable, causing flickering Blackscreens and crashes. Here's a video of the issue in League of Legends. Is there anything I can do about that? I already tried Memtest86 and it told me there weren't any issues but well, certainly doesn't seem to be the case. I really hope you can help me out and let me know if you need any more data. Thanks in advance, Moritz
  5. Now I also sometimes get a staying Black Screen after like 7-8hrs straight of MHW even though nothing in the setup is above like 80-85C, any clues?
  6. Hello again, after a day of my PC working fine I've noticed that my RAM was only running at 2166Mhz. So I went back into BIOS and saw that XMP was on, but still only running at 2166, im guessing because of putting in my old RAM in between. Therefore I turned XMP off, PC still working fine but RAM at 2166. I turned XMP back on and my RAM went back to 3600Mhz but the problems resurfaced. I'd appreciate it if anyone has any ideas, thanks Best regards, Moritz P.S: Currently running the PC with XMP disabled I'm not running into any issues thus far.
  7. Idk what exactly it is that I did since I tried switching back to my RX 480 to check if the problem persists when swapping back, it still happened there so I swapped back to my 5700XT and tried out the old RAM. With that though it didnt even boot so I put the new RAM back in and suddenly its all working fine. I just hope the fix stays as is. Thanks anyways for tryong to help
  8. I'll give that a try, thanks. Edit: Nope, still having the same issues on Adrenaline 20.2.1.
  9. Hello there, I've upgraded my System yesterday from an MSI B150M Bazooka with an i5 6500 and Sapphire Nitro+ Rx480 4GB to: Windows 10 Home 64 bit MSI B450 Tomahawk Max (BIOS version 3.5, latest) -new Ryzen 5 3600 (stock) -new 2x8GB G.Skill SniperX RAM (3600MHz XMP) -new MSI RX5700 XT Gaming X 8GB (stock) -new Sabrent 1TB M.2 boot drive -old 2x256GB SSD, 3TB, 4TB HDD storage drive -old EVGA SuperNOVA 650GQ Modular (650W 80+ gold) -old In the process I've had to reformat my M.2 since I was stuck in the automatic repair loop by Windows and I did a fresh Windows install while reusing my other drives. Now after booting into Windows just fine and it working well without a load but after a while on some load or light gaming like League of Legends I keep getting flittering to a short blackscreen with resumed functionality afterwards until the game crashes eventually. Heavier load games like MHW or ARK crash straight when starting up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers(also from save mode with DDU), tested the RAM with the inbuilt Windows test as well as Memtest86, reinstalled Windows, reseated the RAM, reseated the Graphics card, installed all the newest drivers and updates on all installs and checked the cables. I also got a BSOD(VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE, atikmpag.sys) twice and just now I had a visual glitch on Chrome while writing up this post. I've attached the wanted reports for BSODs as well as a picture of my graphics card utilization during the crashes and the Chrome visual glitch which fixed itself after a blackscreen in this Google Drive .Also here's a video of the issue in League of Legends. Since the new Graphics card just arrived today I just want to say that I've had the same issues when I tried the system yesterday with my RX480 but just one Driver and Windows reinstall. I really hope you can help me out and let me know if you need any more data. Thanks in advance, Moritz P.S: I forgot to say that the Radeon Adrenaline Software crashes on each blackscreen.
  10. Ok thanks and yeah with my bad experience I'm definitely getting a case anyway and don't really have a problem with running custom Roms if necessary now I just gotta watch that the curved screen doesn't get damaged
  11. Well for the Razer I can't find any German offers that would put it below the pricepoint of a OP6 and as far as I can tell the Pixel would be a downgrade in terms of performance to my OP3 wouldn't it? BTW I am not too reliant on the price difference between like 500 and 700 maybe 800€ max atm as I am just trying to get something good now and be set on it for a while, the only thing being that that offer I found for the S9+ is time limited making my decision somewhat time based(also seeing as OnePlus doesn't change prices there's no point to waiting for an offer there either). If you recommend waiting for the other upcoming phones tho I could do that too since I am not in itself in a rush to get that new phone. The camera problem is annoying but if I can get an overall less pricey and/or more useful phone as I am pretty much constantly using my phone and often reliant on it nowadays I won't mind waiting a few months if necessary.
  12. Well for one my camera isn't working properly anymore(probably because of one of those drops but my insurance has run out and I can't prove it in hindsight to the insurer) making it not able to focus anymore(or only exceptionally rarely so) and then there's also the offer by my mother to help me out with the costs for a phone one last time before I'm going to university later this year. Therefore I saw it as quite the good opportunity for me right now to replace my phone with something that's to stay by me for university.
  13. Hello there recently I've gotten into quite the decision dilemma as I am currently looking into getting a new phone and as a current OnePlus 3 user the OnePlus 6 was my logical decision as a next phone and at a direct price of 570/620€ for 128GB and 256GB respectively I've thought it quite well priced, but now I came across an offer for the S9+ in a 2 year contract that would set me back a total of 740€ for the 64GB model of the S9+, a UE Megaboom and the 2 years of contract with a calling flat and 2GB of data and after reading tons of reviews it's still really hard for me to come to a conclusion since the S9+(at least regarding to what I've read and checked) has the better specs and camera as well as that sweet IP68 rating while the OP6 has the edge on speed, software and future software proofing as well as the advantage of a flat screen(I accidentally dropped my Oneplus 3, luckily while insured, 2 times completely shattering the screen 2 times so far q.q) providing better possibility to use a screen protector. Now my question is should I try and use that nice deal for the S9+ or should I stick to OnePlus for the screen's sake and the good OP software management as I intend to keep using the phone for the next 3~ maybe more years to come. Thanks ahead of time for your answers
  14. Im asking myself pretty much the same thing with the thing being I can get the S9+(64GB) with a UE Megaboom and a 2 year contract with 2GB of LTE for 710€ while the OP6 would set me back 550€ for the 128GB Model(have to go with more here since theres no SD Slot) alone now I'm pretty much on the edge on what to buy since the Samsung has better stats and specs but I am a OP3 user and I know the good software support from OnePlus while Samsung seems to be lacking especially once the phone has fallen out of favor so would you recommend switching over still since the S9+ has such a cheap offer or just stick to OnePlus? Edit: BTW I'd also be willing to Root the phone or other things for maybe a cleaner experience than Samsung OS if there are good available options.
