(Assuming everything works) Pricing of the PC on pcpartpicker is over $2200 (if you includes tax) and not including the gpu since its too old and he is selling it for $1200 https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/fQjvNN I don't really care about the gpu since I don't play video games at all, but I do need one to power my 4k monitor. I was just wondering what is the performance of the 5830k is like compared to 6700k and 7700k I mainly use Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom to edit videos. Also, another side question, would it be able to handle 4k editing?

Hi guys, I'm a photographer/cinematographer, and not just as a hobby, I get paid to make videos and take photos, so you could consider me a "pro" Anyways, I been looking to upgrade my post-processing machine. Would you guys recommend getting a powerful fully spec-out laptop? maybe the xps 15 Or a ultrabook for mobile use, (xps13 or blade stealth still thinking) and a pc build for editing. both options are the same in price so money isn't the problem I don't edit on the go that much, but sometimes I do, and I don't know if the ultrabook will have the power to edit mobily when I need it to I used to have a laptop and I dock it when I edit, (so I already have a monitor, speakers, kb and mouse), but I don't know if its time for a change. Let me know what you guys think

Hi, so I got an MX Master about a month ago, and after a few weeks it starts to have connection issues, it lags and skips. I tried using the receiver as well as bluetooth and still have the same problem. I went to bestbuy and got another, and still have issues. I dont know why only the MX Master have this problem, because I tested other wireless mice and they works perfectly fine, I tried the G602 and a generic bestbuy one. Does anyone own an MX Master and have the same problem? Also I'm using mine on a 2015 rmbp13 if that matters

I dont know why but the forward and back button on my MX master doesnt work with safari on my imac, but it works fine with my rmbp13. Does anyone have this problem?

i know that, Id rather get a refurb one tho. save money.

hmmm rly? cus i been photoshopping on 8gb of ram lol. and im also a tab whore, so my current 13" rmbp freezes sometimes. Thats true, cus I want to invest for the long run as well, so probably for the next 3-4 years with this macbook. Kinda funny tho cus all my hard drives(some I just bought recently) are all usb a, so now I have to make the switch. I dont use an external monitor, but even if I do i can buy a usb c to hdmi cable. Also im canadian, so all the pricing ive been talking is canadian dollars lol the dongle u sent me isnt too bad, other than its ugly af lol, but $22.

Idk if I need gpu performance but I mostly use photoshop and lightroom to edit photos and premiere pro eventually when we get to the motion photography part of my program. I need an SD card reader, so I have to have a dongle that has that, the one that are available right now is like $50. Also u forgot 1 thing, its thinner and lighter lol. I just want your opinion tho, if u were me, what would u choose?

hmm rly? i didnt even notice, i was looking at the refurb ones and the prices are the same. Although I know that they raised the price of the mb12. Im still thinking though, should I get the new macbook pro 15' or the older refurb one? new one comes with radeon pro 450 gpu and skylake cpu, old one doesnt have gpu with the base model (the one im going to get) and haswell, not even broadwell cpu. what do you think? and I did the math, I save around $750 if im going to get the old one, not to mention a dongle for another $60-$70 also, i know i can get better specs on other windows laptops, but im a photography student, and 1. my teacher said that mac is industry standard for photographer - idk if thats true or not but hes been a pro photographer for over 20yrs 2. mac is required for my program. so i cant get windows laptop

idk what that mean, so its a lot slower compared to a gtx 950? and also what would u compare the m370x performance to?

I just curious cus these are brand new gpus on the mbp and I can't find any benchmarks for it Also how does it perform compared to the m370x, I just saw Linus' WAN show and he said it isnt even a decent gpu.
