  1. Okay, this is getting on my nerves. Not memtest32 or Windows' MemTest did test the faulty ram... They both threw the test showing only one, and gave out "no errors". How come Windows knows there's a second RAM stick but doesnt test it?
  2. Okay, I wasn't able to do this. So much turning on and off the PC loaded the CPU with heat with little to no time to cool it and now it's turning off automatically because it was hitting 90°C, so I think i'll do the memtest tomorrow. Thanks so much for all the help thougth. I'll still post the results here when I get it down tomorrow morning.
  3. I'll get the RAM in and do a memtest. Hope it's okay and I'm just doing something wrong. And I hope it's the same for me living in south america for the warranty. Will post the memtest results!
  4. Dear god, this PC is giving more questions than answers :'( I'm gonna go mad.
  5. Okay, I should have done this A WHILE AGO. I tried starting the BIOS with the old RAM. Working, 1866mhz. I tried starting the BIOS with both the RAM sticks. Working, 1600mhz. I tried starting the BIOS with the new RAM stick... DOESN'T FREAKING POST. I want to kill myself rigth now, I think the RAM stick is faulty. Now, new question. Is there any RAM checking executable that I can run with both the rams to see if its ACTUALLY faulty? I really need to make sure, I ordered it on Amazon and I live on Chile, South America, so i dont think the warranty experience will be smooth. (Plus, is the amazon warranty experience for north americans nice? I hope it's at least nice there and just know it's gonna be the same but a little more difficult instead of knowing its even hard there...) Also, when I was trying to run the system with the new RAM, the GPU would make the red LED ligth turn on and off, as usual, but when it got to max brigthness, it threw a white ligth, on every cycle, something it stopped doing when I changed the RAM and restarted again, is it some kind of "this is unusual" sign from the GPU or am I just crazy?
  6. Did that, restarted, went into BIOS to check it applied and it didnt show any difference in RAM quantity, just speed. MSI_SnapShot_03.bmp
  7. I installed a RX470 (Strix Gaming) GPU just today, it arrived with the RAM. (I installed the GPU first, see if everything worked well, then installed the RAM when I realized I forgot to do it before, so I really doubt that could be an issue.)
