    Is your WiFi router 802.11 N? If so it's 150mbps. You do t need high speed Internet. You need a high speed internal WiFi.

    Wugfresh Nexus Root Toolkit. Just Google that and download the toolkit. It has more than once helped me get my soft bricked / hard bricked Nexus 5 back to life. And yes using that you can downgrade to Kitkat as well.

    I use the grey one. I don't really like the gold coloured phones out there these days.
