I have an idea that it's because of the fact the tv can't handle MKV files, so it just doesn't give the option? Do you know of a free program I could use though?

I have that, but It's because MY pc is in my room, and the living room is in the other side of the house, and I have a ton of movies on here, most of them MKV tho. the tv CAN go wireless, and when I right click an mp3 file, it shows ''Play To > Sony Bravia'', but not with MKV files. :L

I do have HDMI, but its for ease of use, mainly because its a hassle having the external harddrive hanging from the tv since we have a dog, there's a chance she might hit it and damage it. :L I5 4670k OC'd 4.0Ghz, GTX 780, Windows 8.1, 8gb of ram. Need more info, just ask

So basically my dad and sister wants me to stream some movies from my pc to the Sony Bravia TV we have in the living room. I seem to be able to do it with some files, however MKV files refuses to be able to simply be streamed to it via rightclick > Play To > Sony Bravia KDL-47W805A. Does anyone know about a FREE solution to this problem ? I know Luke showed us we can do it with VLC, but our tv isn't THAT much of a Smart TV. ;_; Please help out. Thanks :wub:

I do indeed like audio, but it's not as important for me as it seems to be for you. I do, as I said, like audio, but I prefer to look decent as well, which is why the HD600's are a thumb down from me Do you happen to know other kinds of headphones that looks kind of like the Focal Spirit One's ? That's a bit more my style. Also - the mic you're talking about would be the Modmic from Antec (I believe ?)

I have the Corsair K70 RGB with red switched on the way, and the headphones I can't find in denmark. Any other ideas for the headphones ? I have a Razer Mamba 2013 or 2012 edition ( can't remember ) but its slowly dying.. Hence the reason I'm hoping for a new one For the headphones, you got any ideas ?

I've had my old Razer Mamba from 2012 (or 2013, can't remember) and it's had a few bugs here and there with the wireless connection, but in the end it was fixed after a bit with a patch for the Synapse software

So I'm literally minutes away from ordering a Corsair K70 RGB, but I'm not sure which one to buy. This is possible. I can tell you this for a fact, because I'm looking at my own build, which has an H100i in push ( Impossible to fit a Push-Pull config in there with a fan in the back ), an Optical drive. However, you probably won't be able to fit a rad in the back if you plan on doing that. all depends on the size of the rad though.
