Great thanks! isn't the board a bit "cheap"? for over clocking?
-
Thermaltake H15

Totally forgot to mention I got a mATX case what are your recommendations for motherboards for that size? And ehhhhh 7 or 5 Ryzen?
-
Any recommended shops in Germany?
-
Heard good things about the 2700X... is that significantly better? I heard “better” things about the 7 also want to be a bit future proof. If I choose a ~140€ mobo would I be able to overclock with a 50~ cooler?
-
Around 400eu would be my budget are those “old” ramsticks good enough for a Ryzen build?

Hey! I just saw the amd stream but I got no patience to wait ~5 months. So I need some advice for streaming and gaming, I plan to play: overwatch, cod4, bfV and some more. This is my current build: i5 6500 Gigabyte H110M-S2H 16gb ddr4 2133MHz CX550M GTX 1060 3gb When I try to stream I get a huge bottleneck from my cpu so right now I am using my GPU for encoding. i don’t want to spend a huge amount of money so I think getting a i7 is the best option at the moment? W What do you guys think and what are your recommendations? thanks! Frosty

Alright then I'm good to go thanks a lot!
-
I'm now running a test stream and I got a ~80% load on the GPU and CPU with a bitrate of 6000. I switched to nvenc btw! Are these load alright or too much?
-
I'll try that!
-
I am also watching the keynote If they have a great combo at my local retailers I'll just pick that up, but first we gotta see what we actually are getting! Oh and is 2666MHz enough for a ryzen cpu, I heard you need minimum 3000..........
-
Thanks! Do you got any recomendations for a upgrade, atm I got: H110M mobo, i5 6500 with 16gb ram 2666MHz...... Should try to get a "better" i7 or should I wait for zen 2?
-
I tried nvenc on the i5 but also that doesn't work. The i7 is totally fine with x254

Hey there! I am currently looking at 2 builds I own: i5 6500 GTX 1060 3Gb 16GB ram ddr4 2666MHz i7 2700K GTX 780ti 2Gb 12GB ram ddr3 When I try to game on the i5 build it obviously runs a bit smoother, but when I try to stream for example Overwatch I get a lot of spikes on the i5 build (it's awful). On the i7 however things are so much smoother, it doesn't even feel like I am streaming. I get a little fps drop and the stream isn't laggy at all! I have no idea what causes this, maybe because the i7 has 4 more treads, hypertreading and 2mb more L3 cache?? I am using SLOBS for streaming btw If someone could help me out that would be great!

Sorry for the late response, When I plug 1 drive it detects the other, never 2 at the same time. But I’m not reinstalling windows I’ll see if that helps
-
I’ll try that! I’m just gonna clean the whole station with windows on it
-
The drive is not seen in the BIOS also I can’t start my windows since it gives me constant bluescreens ?
-
Hey everyone I need some help! First my windows is giving me bluescreens and is not seeing 1 of my drives! also I have 2 ram sticks of 3000MHz 2x8GB but the bios is giving me 2133???? thanks in advance

I’ll just stick to the stock cooler then. What are your recommendations for motherboard and ram?
-
Let's say I'm taking the ryzen7 2700x (hopefully it will be on sale during black friday) Haven't got a very strict budget but I think a motherboard around 100$ would be "okay" Also, should I use the standard cooler? All my retailers are dutch websites (Holland/Netherlands) just because your location is in belgium I'll list some sites below: Coolblue.nl Informatique.nl Megekko.nl Azerty.nl

Don't think that will be an option since I own a broken motherboard and 8Gb ddr3 ram with a 250 watt power supply which is old and not modulair at all. Also a i7 860 is on my shelf

Hey everyone, I'm planning on streaming a lot and therefore im upgrading my pc! But I need some help on the components and internet speeds........ I already have: Matx case GTX 1060 6GB Corsair CX450M I still need: Motherboard Cpu Ram I was looking some options for a cpu, a i7 8700K which is over my budget, i5 8600K and a Ryzen 7 2700x. I'm wondering what cpu is best to take for streaming and gaming at the same time. Also I need a "decent" motherboard that isn't that expensive since I don't need any extras. And of course some ram, I was thinking 16Gb would be enough. Lastly I have the current internet speed: 250down and 20up, is that enough for me to stream in atleast 720p and don't disturd my little brother in his gaming sessions? Thanks for the help!

Hey there, Recently I saw the video of "VR on a budget" and I decided to also get in the VR world. I did the steam vr ready test and resulted in an totally ready build with a very high score. Since Linus used a 1060 6GB and I have a 1060 3GB I don't really know if that's enough for a great vr experience, so I'm looking for some opinions on the topic and tips for a better experience. I know i won't be able to play the games on their highest settings therefore i'm gonna use the Oculus since that is the lower spec headset. My current build: i5 6600K GTX 1060 3gb 16gb ram 2133MHz
