  1. Thanks for the info I really appreciate it. I'll prolly go wit a Q6600, I read somewhere I might need to clear my CMOS before/during/ or after I put the chip in, is that true? I finally found the latest BIOS after couple hours of searching lol. It's a pretty tight fit the x16 slot. I looked in the case and there's a dvd write drive hovering above the slot. Ima need to measure it and see how much room I got, might even take the drive out, don't ever use it lol.
  2. Thanx friend! Yeah I needa gpu also, was thinking about a 750 ti for now. Looked up my board specs and says I have a 1* PCI Express x16 (2.0) - Low Profile Only 1* PCI Express x1 slots. If I put a gpu/750 ti in the x16 (2.0) slot will it be limited?? Also anyone know the updated version of the Q6600? Is it the Q9300 or a different one? Thanx for all the help guys!
  3. Awesome, jus like I suspected. Thanx guys I really appreciate it, was thinking it was going to work but had to ask just to make sure. Do you guys think I have a PCIE x16 slot in there? I opened her earlier and saw a PCI slot but wasn't sure if it was PCIE x1,8,16 or what since its such an old mobo. Was thinking of adding a 750 ti in there or a 660, something cheap that can do 1080p jus fine. Also anyone know how I can find out the latest BIOS update for it? Support sucks worse than any other company out there. Jus called em and they wont talk to you unless your product is under warranty lol. I'll jus risk the $30-50 or so to see if it works. Thanx everyone for the hella quikk answers lol.
  4. So while I save up for my new system, I'm still using my POS emachines I got wayyy bak in '07/'08. After watching Scrapyard Wars it got me thinking. So I looked up the specs for this POS and it says I have a LGA775 motherboard in it. Can I drop a Q6600 or Q9300 in? I'll upload some pics so you can see whats upp. Here's the link/specs to the PC I'm using atm. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=457471 PC Specs: Thanx!
  5. It's actually, University of California, Riverside. Not "University of California, and Riverside."
  6. Thanx guys for all the help, Ima probably get the CM fans. Also can I still do pull with my H100i for an exaust fan up top?
  7. As the title goes I'm lookn for 2 200mm quiet but good performance fans for the front and side intake in my NZXT Phantom 820. All the other fans in my system are Noctuas but they don't make 200mm fans...
