  1. You can use the span wallpaper feature if you want a panoramic wallpaper. You can also have a seperate task bar on each monitor. What version of windows are you on? Also worth mentioning, Display Fusion (Mentioned by @mok) is on sale from humble bundle at the "More than average cost" tier ($7.52 at the moment, Normally $20+) But only if you need some extra features. https://www.humblebundle.com/
  2. Yeah, so even 14 ms is pretty low and wouldnt make for noticable lag in gaming. So a wired connection probably wouldnt even help that much unfortunately.
  3. The first step is Do Not Plug The Ethernet Cable Directly Into Your PC. This'll be using PoE which can damage the device you plug it into if it isnt designed for PoE, (Most things and certainly PCs are NOT) First, trying opening cmd and pinging the router (Usually 192.168.1.1 but use Fing if you're unsure and pick the first address. Android iOS) If you're getting inconsistent and slow ping times to the router (I get 1.5 ms average on Wifi with Uqbiquiti APs) Then an ethernet cable can help. Otherwise it may be simply some external effect you can't control. Try testing it at 3am or some very low traffic time and see if it's better.
  4. Assuming it's setup correctly, yes. "Correctly" in this case meaning no firewalls etc. and the desktop is plugged (either directly or with a switch) into the router's LAN ports. (not WAN or "Internet")
  5. Ok, Could you provide more info on the "Credit card verification loop " problem you have? The best i can come up with right now is to look into getting a prepaid card, essentially like a giftcard that can be refilled and looks like a Visa or Mastercard. I only know of the local Aus ones though. And no, actually i7-4770K, the Celeron is just a CPU on my desk that's about as useful as a paperweight, 32-bit, single core.
  6. Are you looking for it in the "Google Play Music" Web app? or "Music on Google Play" "Music on Google Play" is the storefront to buy songs, GPM is essentially for playing music you own or have a subscription for. (Thanks Google for being generally confusing ) https://play.google.com/store/music Bonus: this store works with exactly the same giftcard credit as the Google Play App Store
  7. Yep, Just checked above method and can confirm I'm able to download a 320kbps MP3, it does require chrome with the GooglePlay addon () Otherwise you're limited to 2 downloads of any one song. For obvious reasons this will ONLY work with bought songs. It will NOT work with songs added to your library with a Google Play Music subscription.
  8. Generally you go to the manufacturers product page for your device and then look for Support & Downloads. GA-B150M-DS3H You'll need to select what OS you have. Then get the downloads for Audio Driver, Realtek LAN, and if you want the Intel VGA driver. the Intel one isn't really needed (It's drivers for the integrated GPU) but can be handy to have in a pinch. (If your dedicated GPU breaks etc.) For the GPU you can either go to gigabyte and download them manually, or you can install Geforce Experience. http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience You linked to the BIOS which you probably don't need to upgrade unless there's a problem. You need drivers for the soundcard, network etc.
  9. What are your system specifications? You need to get drivers specifically for your parts from the manufacturers website.
  10. Hmm. Seems a little bit of a pain for Kodi. From a quick search it seems your options would be limited to browsers designed for the desktop (Or one that is text-only). Not ideal if you plan on running the media PC plugged into a TV. Sorry. So SteamOS could be the option for you. That will certainly work (Assuming the PC specs aren't too low.), Includes a browser etc. assuming you have steam installed you can launch Big Picture Mode to give you an idea of how SteamOS works.
  11. Kodi is a possible option. Of course depending on the specs you may be interested in SteamOS (Possibly for game streaming). If you know a little Linux you can even install Kodi as a "non-steam game" on top of it.
  12. http://www.howtogeek.com/220969/turn-a-raspberry-pi-into-a-steam-machine-with-moonlight/ Moonlight can be used but requires an Nvidia GPU. Been a while since i tested it but I remember it being pretty much playable for most games. (aside from competitive FPS etc.) You can also look at buying a Steam Link box. I've found Steam IHS to work better than Moonlight/Nvidia Gamestream. At least in terms of implementation.
  13. "Chromakey" is the term you're looking for. A quick search shows OBS can do this. https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/how-to-setup-chromakey.10085/ Instructions are for OBS Classic as far as i can tell. No idea if the studio version can also do this.
  14. What are you using to copy files? A mounted Windows share? Using FTP or something could fix this issue.
  15. Is it plugged into any kind of adapter or USB hub? Also try checking with another device. Looked it up, has a replaceable cable, try another different cable, etc.
