  1. I was using 8, and the PC just asked me to restart in the middle of gaming so it could install since it was done downloading. No remind me later, just restart now or in x hours.
  2. yeah and the crazy thing is I never really bother to look into it much until I heard about issues being solved. and now that this has happened a lot of people are telling me 8.1 is good, wish you guys came out of hiding sooner.
  3. I avoided it for a while since I heard it had mouse issues on many games. I've been playing a bunch of games today and haven't ran into any so I guess it was a good thing it happened lol.
  4. I have always been avoiding the 8.1 upgrade, and finally this morning it asked me to restart PC so it could install. Is Microsoft forcing the 8.1 upgrade, or does the upgrade option have some sort of timer? I'm guessing it would download little by little like when the PC would be idle.
  5. The EVGA Supernova G2 Super Flower OEM, totally loving it so far.
  6. I wouldn't risk it, I would only buy those if I had a Corsair PSU. They are damn expensive. Go to FrozenCPU and check out the extensions.
  7. It may be a driver problem. remove and re-install. Also, uncheck the system failure automatic restart form system settings. Assuming you're on Windows 8, drag your mouse to the bottom left corner of the screen, right click when you see the start option pop up and click System>Advanced System Settings, now you're in system properties, go to Startup and Recovery settings, under System Failure uncheck Automatically Restart, apply, hit ok. Hopefully it'll help out more with solving the issue instead of just restarting. If you see a blue screen, then it may not be your power supply. If it restarts, well then it just may be a PSU issue.
  8. Go with a 750w, you're going to find yourself adding more to it, and in case you want another gpu. Look into EVGA Supernova G2 or Cooler Master V Series power supplies.
  9. After almost buying a new case, I instead went back to the Storm Stryker. It is a great case, and I hate myself for abandoning it the first time. It is roomy, great cable management, and I get great temps. It is built solid, fan controller, front 2.5 inch dock, filters on the bottom, top, front, and a handle. I do agree it is heavy, and I am not old, but kinda am...if that makes any sense, but I like the look of it, as mentioned, the paint job is good. My only one problem with it is that if I want the fans facing forward, to pull air into the case, my HDD cables will be visible, but I tucked the cables in through the side and moved em around and they do not look bad at all. This compared to the last two cases I owned, it is solid. The other two felt really fragile and I was afraid of breaking em, I am still afraid of breaking the Air 540. But the Storm Stryker is breaking me, and I sure as hell am glad it has a handle. I can highly recommend this. love this case, and I also love all these other nice cases coming, but really, the only way I'll replace the Stryker is if I just say "oh f**k, why not?" and buy a Cosmos II or a NZXT Phantom 820. One more thing, the CM storm emblem for the power button is sweet! I just like the little design.
  10. Don't worry dude, I just put in a 750w G2 over a week ago, and it is nice. Sure, it's not long enough to truly say for sure how it is, but I am happy.
  11. CM Storm Trooper. It's got filter all over the place, front, top, two on the bottom. Fan controller, 2.5 inch drive dock, handle. Cable management is easy, side panel pops out to help. Another I see mentioned here is the 760T, haven't had one, but it sure looks nice.
  12. if the 750D has officially been added to your list, then check out the 760T. Same skeleton, somewhat different shell, fan controller, about $20-30 more depending which you go with, black or white.
  13. yeah, I'd rather go for one of those huge CaseLabs magnum cases instead of a 900D. More expensive though lol.
