I picked up an Acer XZ322QU at MicroCenter a few weeks back. Its a nice monitor to use but I have recently discovered a weird issue with how my motherboard and this monitor interact. I have an Asus x570 Impact, 3950x, EVGA 1080TI Hybrid, an NVMe Raid 0 for boot, and a SATA raid for 4 drives. Anyways my problem is normally I use Display Port to run the monitor at 160mhz, but if for any reason I do anything to reset the BIOS (like change memory, or CLRCMOS while OC'ing) the motherboard and monitor will not find each other and Ill get no signal; I.e. when this happens I can't get to the BIOS to try setup the computer.
To fix the issue I have to unplug everything, swap out the Display Port for HDMI cables, reboot the computer (this gets me post screen again), entering the BIOS and setting CSM Enabled and UEFI only for boot options, save/exit which allows me to again swap the HDMI back for Display Port and now Display Port will get both post screens and windows. I'm not sure which of these things BIOS adjustments 'fix' the issue but as neither are 'default settings' this whole process is very tedious.
Does anyone know what is causing this or how I can fix it?
