  1. A user at our office stumbled across this page today after clicking what was ostensibly a news article on MSN. Does anyone have any information on scareware like this (i.e. how people set these up, how the URL can have that output, etc). Not finding too many in-depth articles concerning this.
  2. Might go with the OP 5 then. $~600 is my limit, hence why the Pixel is breaking my heart.
  3. I've been using Google's Nexus phones since the 4, but with the price of the Pixel line supposedly getting higher with the next gen I've decided to start looking for a replacement. Are there any good Android phones that don't come with bloatware or a proprietary OS? Looking for a nice, clean setup.
  4. Got a Motorola Droid after I was unable to put the money down for an iPhone. Haven't looked back.
  5. Not sure if the drivers will help - it's been going on for about a month and I did a full system restore about a week ago with the same results. EDIT: No spare PSU to test... any way to test without biting the bullet and getting a new unit? Most I've got is a multimeter.
  6. I'm not sure if it "hangs" per se. After a couple seconds of darkness I'll hear the audio of whatever I'm watching / playing come through the speakers, but the GPU won't recover. Seems like everything in the background continues to work as expected.
  7. I'd like to think it's the PSU as I'm not getting any errors in the event viewer pertaining to the GPU whenever this happens.
  8. Started about a month ago, growing more and more frequent. Haven't OC'd the card. I'm also finding that I'll sometimes turn on or restart my computer and my second monitor won't be working and the display settings will revert back to 60hz (both monitors have a 144hz setting through displayport). To fix this I'll have to cut the power to my surge protector for about ten seconds before turning it back on.
  9. I've had this ASUS Founders Edition GTX 1080 for about a year now and it's been having this issue where during the middle of a game (Doesn't matter which, but Starcraft II is most constant) or shortly after closing the game both of my monitors will immediately go black and my GPU's fan will spin up to what sounds like 100%. It'll stay this way no matter how long I wait. I've checked the temp during my games so far and I haven't seen it go above 82c. Any idea what this might be?
  10. Excuse you, Strike Commander Morrison best skin.
