Yeah we were thinking about getting him a new PC all together since his PC is just really slow at this point Windows 10 isn't treating his PC well it seems, since the PC it probably took 10 seconds just to launch Speccy to find out what the GPU was all together and it takes him a while to boot his PC that he just leaves it on the majority of the day in sleep till he needs it. Him and my mom seem to think that running a VGA cable into a Display port will work since his work did that and it worked fine, but his work PCs are about 3-4 years newer and are worth probably triple what his home PC is worth.

Have they made sure that they are showing as online, are they online to others and are they online on another console/the xbox app on Windows 10.

Ok the GPU is the AMD Radeon HD 6450 And the monitor is the HP Pavilion 32in Display

This is probably in the wrong thread, hate me or what not if I'm wrong, my dad just got a new 1440p monitor but his 8 Year old ATI card can't do the full resolution in HDMI and he's thinking about getting a VGA to Displayport adapter to get the full resolution, his card was made in 2011 I believe he got it in January (Don't have the specific Name).

I mean ram. I'd have to ask him but he'd probably say 128, IDK much about the software I think it'd be better if you ask some people in your field about the software.

Autocad is very memory hunger my father claims his 128 GBs are devoured by it.

Sorry for the lack of information but the cables are in really bad shape (On the keyboard) and it's behind my exhaust fan the keyboard is also about 2 years old if that has anything to do with it.

It's been a while but there's a couple of things you have to do, 1 is to install CSS and the other is to enable them are they working or areyou not getting textures? Sorry to be late I wanted to be very informative on this last step. 1st your going to launch the game and on the main menu look in the bottom right, there's going to be a gamepad you will click it and select the games you want Gmod to take textures from.

I'm curious because I've just had an issue where multiple of my peripherals were being disconnected with no way to figure out what was causing it, but then all of my peripherals were fine but 1 my keyboard, I restarted and plugged in a new keyboard and it's like this whole issue never happened.

I must be misinformation but to my knowledge power consumption for CPUs was higher back then was it not? What would cause such a change in power requirement?

Vega cards were released back in 2017 where Power consumption was higher than they are now, you should be fine what other parts do you have?

To be honest I'm not planing on getting anymore nvidia stuff if Navi pulls through with competitive performance numbers, since I also plan to upgrade my CPU to an AMD Ryzen in the forseeable future.
